2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

Boston finally signs a free agent n it's Al horford :lol

He's actually a solid addition. We needed a big that can get us 15-20 PPG while simultaneously spreading the floor to allow IT room to work.
All that money to still lose in the 2nd round ...but hey At least y'all signed somebody !!

Only one team is gonna win the chip. At least the c's are showing they are willing to spend. What u want them to do? Just tank? Not their fault that the top guys aren't gonna sign there

celtics can sign kd with horford?
Yeah we have enough cap space for 2 max contracts.

Still lose in the 2nd round? We haven't been there since the Big 3 era so assuming he gets us there, that's progress. We still have several assets too. Future is looking up here.

Are you just a salty Wizards fan?

They were never really in it. OKC will be the favorites to come out of the west next season.

JC to GS isn't bad. Cheap replacement for HB.
And he probably wont go 2-25 from 3 in a series. Only wish I could remember the whole finals total from 3 to get the full picture but that stat provides a good enough image of how bad he was.

You must not watch JC lately.

He'll have 1 good game in a 7 game series.

Shoot the team out the other 6 and be invisible on defense.

GSW wasting money.

I like Horford in BOS

I think Orlando is misguided not to let Gordon get major minutes at the 4 spot. But if you're looking at the 3 big men being Ibaka/Biyombo/Vuc, it gives you a lot of flexibility. You can go ultra defensive with Ibaka/Biz.. you can be balanced with Ibaka/Biz and Vuc, etc.

No to KD in BOS.. take another run with Russ, then max out next season.

Who would've ever thunk that it would be Boston in the running? I think he signs with OKC, but it would be crazy if he signed to Beantown

This is an ego stroke...nothing more. He never intended to leave.
