2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

I still find it hilarious that the lakers who were supposed to make this monster splash and reload settled on four year deals to Mozgod and Deng. Lol. Enjoy mediocrity.

Because the Knicks didn't do the exact same thing.....

Dudes over here throwing stones in a glass house.

Knicks got significantly better from last season.
Not having Byron Scott coach and Kobe highjacking the offense >>>

I gotta agree w/ you on that. Lakers will significantly improve just from those factors alone.

Not to mention adding Brandon Ingram. I think the Lakers will be in the playoffs not this year, but next.

Lakers winning 30 games this year and Kings sucking balls leading to Cousins demanding trade at the deadline = :hat :hat

Knicks and Lakers are in totally different positions. Lakers are completely rebuilding with young talent. Knicks are tryna win now with dudes who are past their prime. I don't think either team is wrong. Knicks might as well go for broke, they really didn't have no other option. With the Lakers no Superstar wants to go to a team and your sidekicks are 20 and 19 and Superstars don't trust Jim Buss.

I know everyone is talking about KD??? But any idea Bron may get? And would he sign a 3 yr deal potentially for lock out reasons....

Free agent forward Andrew Nicholson has agreed to a four-year, $26 million deal with the Wizards, league source tells @TheVertical.
Not really sure what the Wizards are doing, but good gamble I guess?

One thing about the "go East, it's easier!" idea: Know why it's been "easy" for LeBron? Because he doesn't have to play LeBron.

I keep telling dudes this. They don't want to end up like the Bulls or Pacers.

Let's be real. It's only relevant now because he won a chip...

Before he jumped teams to recruit superstars just to win, he was getting washed out the east.

They're not winning 30 games this year

Theywill.  Nick Young will be gone before the season

Wait wait wait....dudes are PRAISING JAMAL CRAWFORD? :rollin

Have a look at his playoff numbers.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/crawfja01.html?mobile=false

37% from the field, 30% from 3 in the playoffs, horrible defense and a ball stopper....and dudes think he'll be an "UPGRADE" over Barnes? :lol.

Good dude, fun to watch.....but he's been a minus basketball player for the last 3 years. Really hurt the clips.

product of people not watching the games and watching him made ridiculous difficult shots on highlights.

You got Clipper fans who are saying good riddance. Says everything you need to know

Kevin Durant has informed #Clippers he will not be joining them, per LA Times.

Yup

this, jeremy lin got robbed. id even take shaun livingston over JC

How did Lin get robbed? He finished 7th in 6moy voting and put up worse numbers than he did the season before.

KD better not be going through this whole dog and pony show with teams just to re-sign with OKC.

Might as well come to Boston, be THE guy, have all-star caliber talent and role players around him and ultimately dethrone Lebron.

We haven't had a championship in Boston since 2015.
