Why everyone isn't signing one year deals is beyond me.

You tear an ACL and you'll be kicking yourself. I would probably sign a max this year if I were a player. A 1+1 at the least.

The real question is why didn't everyone sign 1 yr deals last offseason. Everyone knew the cap was gonna have a huge jump. I would have taken that risk

If you are injury prone, I can understand. But if you're healthy. I'd say a one year deal is the way to go. But I guess some ppl just crave that security.

Guess the only way a player gets a pass is they stay with their drafted team their entire career but within that team take less money so the team can improve? Doesn't make a ton of sense but whatever

Players like Tim Duncan are beloved by their team for doing just that.

Yea it's easier to convince the guy to take less after he has 4 titles in the bank.
