Barkley is a total hypocrite, however this I do wonder about.
Hypothetically, let's say KD, Steph and Klay win 3 straight... are you still going to care when the Finals come around and they're playing the Atlanta Hawks in 2020?
I remember in like high school when the Lakers were playing the Nets in the Finals. Instead of watching a couple of those games I just went to go play at the gym. Lot of guys did.... the league kinda sucked back then.
You're right, not because he signed a 1 yr deal though. They have Wade's bird rights, meaning that they can exceed the salary cap when signing him.
This guy on twitter is a cap-enthusiast.
The heat don't have Wade's full bird rights because he signed a 1-year deal. Therefore, they cannot exceed the cap to give him 2 years/50 mil.
The Heat can't use Bird Rights on Wade because they used their cap space on Whiteside.
Bulls are really trying to top Nuggets's 52 mil offer for Wade
What the F are they smoking over there
Jesus :x :x :x :x :x
Agreed 100%The league is more talented than ever. Primes are being extended due to science. Young guys with potential aren't throwing their careers away. Talent pool is bigger than ever with basketball growing. GSW isn't just walking through the league.
Dude is the anti-windhorst right now. It's really embarrassing how personally he's taking this.
Yeah, you're right. This stuff gets confusing sometimesYou're right, not because he signed a 1 yr deal though.
They still had Wade's bird rights at the start of free agencyl. But his cap hold is 30 mil, so they only had like 16 mil left over to sign Hassan.
But you saw Hassan got 20+ mil & they don't have his bird rights so the only way to offer him that is to renounce their rights to Wade.
Point being, I stand corrected.
Barkley out here saying KD trying to cheat his way into a championship when he held phx at gunpoint to trade him to Houston.
two team league next year. There is no parity. Talented aint watered down. Just most of the best players on the same squads.Agreed 100%
I cringe whenever someone says the league is watered down.
Ole boy really on that scorned lover steez. This dude Royce man...

he might say he never felt further away
like at 3-1 what more can you do to win?
how much better could they be or would they struggle just be that good again?

It's always been like this
If we breakdown top 20 players in the NBA....
Warriors - 4
Spurs - 2
Clippers - 2
Cavs - 2
So, there's 10 guys on 4 teams. The other 10 can be spreaded out amongst the 20 teams in the NBA
You can argue that 70-80% of the top 10 is on those 4 teams.
and thats top 20
is it not fair to say klay and dray are top 10?
dray has to be top 10 if he's better than blake and blake is considered top 10.
and klay is best 2 guard in the L. Best 2 guard has to be top 10.
So Dubs really have 4 of the top 10 and 2 of the top 3...
damn.
VeryYeah, you're right. This stuff gets confusing sometimes
