Nah, because then the Cavs sans would've just put him along the rest of the Cav's "garbage" pile of players with JR, Shump, Frye, Korver etc.

Bogut wasn't even doing anything for the Mavs this year.

If you REALLY want to legitimize Bogut's presence, then you have to also accept the GSW missing him for game 7 hurt them losing the series as well.
It did

it can also be argued that starting in the '01 playoffs, Kobe may have supplanted Shaq as Best in the L and what Kobe did in the regular season and the playoffs from '06-'12 is nothing short of astonishing and is why he was generally known around the NBA during that time as the best player.

Kobe's playoff numbers:

'01 - 29.4 ppg 7.3 reb, 6.1 asts

'02 - 26.6 / 5.8 / 4.6

'03 - 32.1 / 5.1 / 5.2

'06 - 27.9 / 6.3 / 5.1

'07 - 32.8 / 5.2 / 4.4

'08 - 30.1 / 5.7 / 5.6

'09 - 30.2 / 5.3 / 5.5

'10 - 29.2 / 6.0 / 5.5

'12 - 30.0 / 4.8 / 4.3

But but according to NT, it didn't matter

Like I said, some people will only accept caveats that support their narrative.

Losing Draymond game 5, Iggy 6 and Bogut 7 hurt the Warriors. Cavs winning 5 and then taking momentum back to Clev was HUGE. People people refuse to acknowledge this. Game 7 was a toss up, but at that point Iggy was still hobbled, Curry played hobbled all series and Harrison Barnes not being able to hit the broad side of a barn.

It really was the perfect storm for Clev. I really don't think we'll see this again, unless someone like KD or Curry get's hurt.

Bron just gotta get that new shipment and tie this b!tch up

Then who Hayward?

Stop it, man. Just stop it. Cavs may as well sign PG13 as well. LeBron could just take the minimum and allow the FO to sign those guys. Cavs trade Frye, Jefferson and JR for Melo as well.

If Kerr was smoking what you're smoking, he'd probably be back on the floor beginning of the 2nd round

jefferson is a free agent and will probably retire

trade 2 former knicks back to the team would be funny

The only way for Cle to be able to beat this version of the Warriors is to have a lineup that looks like this:

PG - Kyrie

SG - Beal

SF - Lebron

PF - Milsap

C - Whiteside

But it would never happen

You'd take. Beak over butler or kawhi

On a team with Lebron and Kyrie, yes. Because Beal would be a perfect third option on offense and would be used much in the same way Klay is used with KD and Curry in the fold.

Beal's outside shooting would be vital and he'd be able to knock down all the open looks that Korver, Smith, and Shumpert are unable to take advantage of.

Butler and Kawhi are iso players and I doubt either of them would fare well on a team with Kyrie and Lebron.

His last 3 finals run, he was on a tear.

To be clear, I don't know who was imbibing marijuana in the Cavs locker room -- media that entered, player, etc. But it wasn't a dead skunk

why fam snitchin doe?

If CLE gets swept, the offseason will really be interesting considering Lebron can opt out. He's already fulfilled his promise of bringing a chip to CLE, and if he feels that the Cavs have nowhere else to go from here but downhill, who knows what his mindset will be like or if he'll seek to relocate elsewhere on a more promising (or younger) team that can give him enough firepower to help prolong his career while still giving him chances to get back in the Finals.

After this year, I don't see the Cavs retooling enough to allow James to have a better team than he has now. It may be time for James to switch jerseys for the last 5-7 years of his career.

The greatness of the GOAT

'80-'88 Magic & Bird
** '88-'98  JORDAN

** '94-95 Olajuwon

Lol sorry Thomas from the Pistons had 89 and 90 on lock. Back to back rings and if Thomas didn't get hurt in 88 we should of won then too.
He still wasn't the best player in the league though. He was definitely on the best TEAM, but individually he was well behind Jordan. From an individual statistical standpoint, Dominique had better numbers than Zeke in the late 80s as well.

He ain't going nowhere

Decision 3.0 coming...maybe that Clipper pipe dream comes together now. He fulfilled his promise to Cleveland + if they lose to GS his Finals record doesn't get worse. Win-win.
