those nets teams had no bench but that jason kidd/kittles/richardjeff/kmart nets were goat stuff boyos

To be fair, you said who did Kobe face in the finals.  But this whole argument is a waste of time.  The east has been terrible since MJ left.

It wasn't that great when he was there, 6 straight finals and possibly 8 if it wasn't for his suspension. Why you think the east got beat in every finals until the pistons smacked Kobe and shaq in the face

Are y'all bringing up Kobe.. or Shaq? The hell? Nobody was stopping Shaq.

Magic? You mean the Magic that took down the #1 Cavaliers and #2 Celtics? The 2 best teams in the league?

Oh.

I see now its Shaq... But apparently that not the argument when it comes to Kobe's rings argument.

You mean that Celtics team without KG... Boston would have made the Finals that year if KG didn't get hurt.

facts... Nba going to try to help him win it and add to the suspense... Hell they might let LeBron be the only man to come back from being down 4 to 0...

NBA going to nba [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

Facts [emoji]128224[/emoji][emoji]128224[/emoji][emoji]128224[/emoji] sticking to the script like lint on denim

Don't know how ppl can watch basketball today and not be frustrated.

I'm not speaking about Kobe or the Lakers. You made an incorrect statement about the adversity Miami faced during the playoffs. I'm refreshing your memory as to what actually occured.

This is your arguement being disproven. Of course you wouldn't understand it now that facts are presented.

Like I said... I really dont understand the point of this argument. The league has always been like this. Not just now, but for decades. It's always been a 2-4 team race to the finals. Sure we see some upset in the early rounds like the Warriors against the Mavs in 2007. Everyone is punishing Lebron for playing in the east but no one is saying **** when Duncan and Kobe was beating on those same weak east teams in the Finals? It's like Lebron is the only one benefiting from it.

Yea cause the eastern and western conference road to the finals and the actual finals are just as competitive (sarcasm)...anyone coming up out the east has a cakewalk, it's been that way for years

Meh you're right.. he just further validated our point now that I think about it.

LeBron plays in the trash conference.... hence why Kobe, Shaq, Duncan destroys whoever was in the Finals (besides Pistons)

West competition >>> East competition.

Those earlier Spurs, Kings, Mavs days :smh:

.

Where are you going with all this?

is this the "find a loop hole subject to cape for LeBron" narrative for you?

If you put Lebby on any other team in the league can they beat these Warriors in a series?

if we put the same exact cavs team in the western conference would they make the finals?

if we put the same exact GSW team (or even the GSW team from last year), would they make the finals?

That settles this debate

clippers..

And this year the Cavs would not have made the finals... They aren't even the 2nd best team in the L many say...

Spurs Houston okc clippers jazz and Portland better then them

Good point.

**** is unrealistic... Obviously we can just relocate a whole city or team like that... WTF?

You very well could be right.  Just seemed like there was more with the Pistons, Knicks, Pacers, Magic, and even the Hornets had solid players.

NOOOOO HELL NO. They wouldn't have even beat OKC or the spurs last year

Atleast they did a better job at scripting the games back then

There is literally no other aspect of society let alone sports where failing sooner is looked at as a positive.
its ridiculosus

Without even taking the actual finals losses into account, Tim Duncan, Kobe, & Jordan were eliminated BEFORE even reaching the finals more often than they reached the finals. For Kobe & Duncan, a few of those pre-finals eliminations came with them being the defending champs.

So if you lose as the defending champ before the finals its ok, lose at all before the finals its ok, but if you get to the finals & get beat a bunch then its a black eye? nonsensical.

Average pace of LeBron teams in playoffs
Career entering 2017 NBA Finals: 90.6
2017 NBA Finals: 105.5

15 more poss than he's accustomed to.

Catch 22. This is the #1 defensive team in basketball so Bron keeps pushing the pace because he doesn't want them to set up, and he's had inconsistent success in the halfcourt. Kyrie has also been a mess altogether w/ more shots than points in the series.

On the other hand, that's exactly why he gets so gassed in these games  Different level of conditioning playing 44 mins w/ 90 possessions vs. 105 possessions & defending Durant at the other end.

This is just a really tough matchup.

Hypothetically speaking

Lol Kobe and Duncan didn't do fantasy drafts every off-season and played against actual competition in the playoffs. LeBron makes it as easy as possible for himself and than can't compete when things get a little more difficult. There's a reason he got so offended by what Barkley said earlier in the season. It was true...

Kobe and Duncan have had excellent teams that made great front office moves. Don't forget that Kobe was threatening to leave LA until that trade happened. None of that should be held against them, to win you need good players by your side. Barkley himself did it, he just waited to late in his career.
