I thought lebron was done making coaching choices at this point in his career?
So back to the actual Finals....Bron said that its not the Cavs game to slow the game down. Ok, thanks sir!

I think people are mainly saying that if you lose before the finals, you still lost.
When you say the record out loud yeah it sounds worse and it will always be a knock against him, but it is kind of dumb.
But on the flip side people use how many times he has been to the finals as an indicator of greatness.
In the end though, its better to lose in the finals than earlier. At least at that point you can get there an have a shot at winning the whole thing. Nobody outside of a few hopeful cavs fans had the Cavs winning last year. The opportunity to have the chance is always greater than the opportunity to not.
I dont even understand what argument you are trying to make right now. Are you trying to imply that Lebron never beat any great teams? He still beat San Antonio, a Warriors team who had won more games than another other team in NBA history.Sorry but it doesn't or hasn't worked like that. Especially in Bron's case where everybody recognizes the talent gap within his own conference. It's akin to Magic in the 80s somewhat. He wasn't elevated cause he went to 9 finals in 12 seasons, it's cause he won 5 by beating some all time great talent from the superior conference. We just can't willy nilly change everything for LeBron.

Finals appearances have always been used as a pro and a knock for lebron, but at the end of the day, it is always better to make the finals than to not. If the Cavs don't pull off game 7 vs. the Pacers then they dont even have a shot at a title vs. the Spurs and only walk away with two. Same thing with the Celtics in game 7, they lose both of them and they go from having 3 titles to having 1. It may sounds better on paper to have lose prior to the finals, but its not like the dude can foresee which finals he is going to win and which ones he is going to lose in. You never know how the ball is going to bounce and having the opportunity for it to bounce your way is always greater than to not have the chance.
Early 2000s the WCF were the real Finals. Them Blazers, Spurs and Kings teams were loaded.
Only if your conference is competitive to begin with.
so you would rather lose in that noncompetitive conference? Lol, that doesnt even make sense.

I'm saying that you either win or you don't. Who cares if you make it to the Finals and don't win. That 2nd place mindset is for the birds.

Bron beat them in 12 when they were older but he also needed a superteam to do so.
This is yalls chosen one?"At the end of the day it's just basketball." - Bron on being down 0-2. https://t.co/y****tfcEC
