Morris is one to talk about toughness. Dude left with a twisted ankle and didn't come back. Game 2 his movement is perfect. Anyone that's played ball knows that if you sprain your ankle to the point where you're laying on the ground in agony and can't continue, 2 days later your ankle isn't fine. That takes AT LEAST a week.

Also worth nothing. Average Bradley showed up on the defensive end last night. Made it tough for Beal. Also, that rebound Smart got around Gortat, big play. Changed the momentum into the Celtics favor.

this generation is too easily impressed by points scored as the end all be all. IT is amazing and putting on a show these playoffs but this isn't breaking news, he's been this good all year. A 4th quarter God

Wall had 40 and 13 and gets looked at as a scrub now, not much more you can ask a man to do physically

This is real. Same with Otto man buddy was on the ground in pain for like 5 minutes it seemed like thought he was definitely not coming back in the game lol

Wall had a great game also... Maybe bad shots last 3 mins or so but he was gassed.

The rest of the team choked it up.

2 classic PG performances last night. No way to shade Wall.

I'm one of the biggest Celtics fans on here and I'd be the first to tell you that IT isn't a better overall player than Wall. More heart and clutch though? Yes.

Couple takeaways:

-Avery Bradley is a joy to watch on defense. Innate gifts on that end. You can't really teach what he does on defense. He just has "it".

-Brad Beal needs to apologize to everyone on his team. Especially John Wall. Beal was piss poor. Run that fade.

-Wall played amazing for 3 and a half quarters. He stopped attacking the last half of the 4th...and was settling for really bad jumpers. John is at his best when he's going downhill, putting pressure on the d.

That flop that Marcus Smart did to draw a block call....and erase the Kelle Oubre 3 COMPLETELY changed the course of the game. 8/9 point swing. Terrible call. Wiz would've been up 10, maybe 11. Instead....it's a 2 point game....and trading possessions basketball. Really bad call.

-Wizards can't live with the big switches onto It4. He's too crafty. If Morris or Gortat man screen....you have to trap that and get the ball outta Zeke's hands. Especially yesterday. Porter and Oubre can keep up.....Morris and Gortat can't.

-Lastly, Brad Beal got some soul searching to do.
everything you said was spot on, no one is talking about it but that Marcus Smart flop was HUGE. Wall was dead tired in the 4th quarter and OT, you could tell. IT looked like he didn't even break a sweat
1000000%

Despite the Garden rocking the Wizards were hitting on all cylinders, then the zebra comes in mid-play w/ all these theatrics while the shot is already in the air

let's completely stop the game to replay & get this right too

Definitely not.

Why use WebMD when we got armchair physicians in this thread?

Nah, I just KNOW he exaggerated that injury. You don't "sprain" your ankle at 6'10" 245, writher in pain unable to continue and show up like nothing ever happened 2 days later

How do you exaggerate an injury when EVERYONE saw how severe the sprain was?

Wait...why am I entertaining this?

my dude did you even see the replay of the injury? did you even watch the game? Markieff was moving gingerly on the ankle all game, which is why IT kept abusing him off those screens. he couldn't rotate quick at all

Last night was a historic game.

First time one player scored 50 while a opposing player scored 40 in Playoff history.

John Wall was the first player since Jerry West in 1969 to have 40 & 10 vs Boston in the Playoffs.

John Wall is also the 2nd player in NBA history with 40 & 13 in the Playoffs. Westbrook is the other player.
