This part was crazy to me. He took 5 and 6 on purpose and didn't try to hide it at all. Optically it just looks worse than asking to be taken out or being taken out.fouling out on purpose

That's basically what I was referring to. And no he's been pretty good overall this playoffs but this is still very disappointing. His turnovers in game 5 at the end were also inexcusable.

. however this convo of GOAT has been going on in here recently and people are glossing over this like it's a small blip. When we are nitpicking the greats an entire Finals series where you completely QUIT, not had a bad series but straight up didn't attack is a HUGE mark on the resume but again narratives.

James doesn't seem like he has that dog in him to come out and at least go for it or maybe game 5 gutted him. You're at home though, you gotta at least go out there and try. Even if you have a bad game, it's a better look going out there, playing within your game and having a bad night vs. not showing up at all.
