Fultz With The Nice Handles But I’m Hoping His Shot Is Back For Next Season If He’s Even Around Cause You Know “It’s Star Hunting Season”

I have high doubt he’ll be around next season. If we make a trade for a star wing like we’re trying to do then he’ll almost 100% have to be included. The only way I see him on the team next year is if LeBron signs THEN we make the trade for Kawhi and send them Dario in the deal. If LeBron isn’t signing with us I’m sure as hell not giving up Dario in a deal. We would be screwed at the PF position. If LeBron comes though we’d probably be playing Ben-JJ-Kawhi-Bron-Embiid and as we saw already, Dario did not play well coming off the bench.

Fultz gets on my nerves. Goes on Snapchat with these crazy dunks and handles videos but the shot is nowhere to be found. I really hope he's good this year :ohwell:.

Disappointed we didn’t get Bron and I’m not getting my hopes up for Kawhi. Sixers haven’t landed a big name free agent not once in their entire existence and haven’t traded for a star since Moses 35+ years ago.

It ain’t happening boys. The grassroots build is all we got.

Looks like we just gotta resign JJ for a decent price, save some cap space for next season, and pray Fultz gets his **** together by October

I think the sixers now need to focus on bolstering the next as well as still putting that feeler out for a trade for a Beal or McCollum. I say sign Ellington and Oquinn as bench backups. Resign JJ , bring over Bolden and basically go into this season with a similar team as last year.

Completely fine without Kawhi at this point. Especially since hes dead set on LA. A scoring wingman is our missing piece and I'm not giving up on Fultz yet. If Ben develops a jumpshot, hes an MVP candidate imo. Build from within like the warriors did.

Damn you dudes are sounding defeated :lol

I still think we get Kawhi because I really don’t think the Spurs will trade him to the Lakers and create a super team over there.

Then I want us to sign KOQ and re-sign JJ.

You’re willing to give up long term, core pieces for a 1 year rental that doesn’t even guarantee a finals VISIT?

It’s not going to end up taking that much to get him in the end because it’s obvious they have to trade him, and the only other suitor at this point is the Lakers who won’t be offering much because they already have LeBron and can afford to wait and see if he’ll just come sign next summer instead of giving away assets.

Dario, Covington, 2019 pick, 2021 Heat pick...yes I would. Even if he was to leave, we’d then have $47+ million in cap space next offseason, presumably coming off a 60+ win season where we would make the ECF at the very least. We’d be an extremely attractive situation, Kawhi would probably be the best player in the entire conference instead of not even being a starter in the ASG for the West and I reallllly don’t think he’d wanna leave.

Its always been all on us. Its whatever. Im used to it. We got this but damn we need to at least sign someone today lol. Every other team making moves in FA except us stupidly banking on Kawhi :{

Man...the way Leonard is treating the Spurs makes me worried that he only cares about himself, which means he will probably leave to LA next season. I'm very weary of that trade.

I really wouldn't mind going for someone in CJs caliber for something centred around Covington and picks.

I wouldn't trade Dario unless it was someone on Leonard's caliber.

A lineup of:

Embiid/ Holmes
Dario/ Bolden
Simmons/ Zaheir/ J Anderson
CJ/ JJ
Fultz/ McConnell

That's good enough for us to compete with Boston for top seed. Fultz really is the key factor in the success of this lineup.

Still need another shooter to replace Marco, unless they figure Landry can fill that void?
He probably could but I’d still go after Wayne Ellington with your remaining money just for bench security.

We also really need to get rid of bayless and get another big to bolster that position

Fultz is really the key to everything(along with embiid and Simmons taking another step forward). Sixers didn’t have a multi-level scorer at all last season and fultz can theoretically provide that. I wish they kept mikal because he would’ve been someone who could battle Tatum for the next decade but at the same time he wasn’t going to be that multi-level scorer type. At least zhaire is nearly 3 years younger and there is a possibility his handle and shot improves

He really is. It's just a wait and see game right now. That being said, it's clear that Fultz will never be that alpha dog type, which is OK being next to Embiid and Simmons.

As for Zahir, I still question if he really was their "1B" I think they just saw an opportunity to collect additional assets and took it.

Zahir is raw, and when I think of raw, super athletic players, I think of players like Rodney Carney and Gerald Green. I hope I'm wrong, I hope he exceeds his potential, but I am not bringing my hopes up. That move was more about the pick than it was about Smith.
