Harden used to post up more before under Mchale.

Developing a post game can only help IDC what the stats say. Posting up is an added offensive option if he can actually score there. It could take less energy to get to the cup since he gets the ball close. Can draw doubles and hes a talented passer. The thing with harden is he has a low release point and he isnt as tall as other post players so fadeaways are tricky.
Posting up smaller players is still good basketball if the guy knows what hes doing.

Preach bishop!!

Had to bold and change the color for emphasis

there were Plenty Of opportunities when Capella wasn't on the floor this series, when they could have taken advantage of this. Dude wasn't even playing 30 minutes per

I don't think the debate is whether or not a post game is a value add to a player but rather if it would help beat the Warriors and I would argue that it wouldn't.
This isn’t enough of a surface level argument for the barbershop boys to understand.

NT was roasting the Dubs when KD was ****ing up possessions by deciding to iso and post up.
Now that the Rockets miss an improbable amount of 3s they wanna act like that **** is the answer.

Roasted him because the Warriors have a full functioning Offnse that has proven to dominate teams when they run it, The Rockets on the other hand are either A or B & were bricking everything in sight

Yall are stuck on this idea of posting up being catching the ball on the block and backing down all the way to the hoop. Again, look at LeBron. Drive from the top of the key, recognize the paint defense, immediately pull up for a turnaround or half spin. Don't even need to put a body on the defender

NBA players can live anywhere in the world if they so choose... They can pool their money together and build the playgrounds they want... then charge other players to visit there.. Like really only the ones that want to be seen as celebrities have a problem living in cities like Cleveland
You act as if these players don't have families or if they do want to live away from them for extended periods of time.
As far as building playgrounds and such that's just poor financial discipline. Why live somewhere that require you to spend money to improve quality of living? Plenty of cities have it readily available.
Stop thinking money is infinite and will always be available to earn in their profession.

What's the difference between iso'ing on the wing repeatedly and iso'ing on the block repeatedly?

Either way...it's an ugly style of basketball and you'll have 4 guys standing and watching.

Is there a stat about the amount of contested threes taken by Houston game by game against GSW? Sorry Im being lazy.

Rockets needed to make more shots. They were bricking 3s left and right. They also missed a ton of layups over the series. Mid range and post would have granted better looks, helping to defeat the warriors
