Yeah, Ive quit buying Jordans for the last several years now. Somehow new ones keep showing up at the house.

Last one I got was the bc3 which I got for retail. I’ve been selling my old Jordan’s and buying lebron and air max.

But the black 6 infrared has always hold a special place in my heart since it’s the shoes that has escaped me since 91-92. I got the 2014 for a while, but it just doesn’t feel the same for some reason. Hopefully the 2019 pair is closer to the OG. The only part that bugs me most is how short the tongue is on the retros.

I love the 2014s. I thought the 2010s were crap. Hated the material, the red was so dark. Id buy another 2014 if the 19s werent coming out. I will defibitely be buying 3 or 4 pairs. Best shoe ever designed.

They were ok. Felt horrible. White infrareds on the other hand...... “leather” scratched by rubbing on anything

Differences are
1. 2000 Infrared tad darker than OG
2. OG has 3m, 2000 does not.
3. The 2000 retro has a bulkier toebox
4. OG was made with Durabuck that was molded into a smooth leather look. The 2000 pair uses a Nike made durabuck that is different but captures the essence of the OG look.
5. The ankle bubbles on the 2000 are wider.
6. The tongue height on the OG is higher.
7. The NIKE AIR on the OG is more bold and has a box look compared to the 2000.

The ankle padding is much smaller and more defined on the og. The 2000s are very thick. Would like to see the white lining look to come back also.

If they'd stitched the NA on the Maroon's as bold as the Black Metallic's it would've been perfect imo

The 2016 Metallics are probably one of the most slept on NA releases I swear people will regret not having unless they already have the 2000s or OGs

By not wearing them lol. I have ds olympics from 2012 and they are still icy like that

cool. always read stuff like icy sole swill get yellow after a few years, even without use. good to know.

with little to no use and good storage technique, i would say the 10 year mark is when you’ll see some yellowing...my 5s from 2006 all have some slight yellowing, not even that bad.

i used to do the whole ziplock bag and silica gel packet deal, but found they didnt make any difference.
