EB has a long track history in the NFL, if you're going out your way to say he doesn't interview well, it's nothing he is doing. It's the organization finding a reason (most likely not fitting the mold) not to hire him.I agree in the context you put it and I do believe teams are actively ****ing over EB. But, you do need to be able to communicate and verbalize your thoughts effectively and that’s often what the interview is used for. It shouldn’t be the end all be all for him though because we know the work product he’s created with the chiefs as OC. Not sure why teams are choosing to ignore the nuance in his situation
I want to see results. How the hell does Adam Gase get a job when you can clearly see he sucked. Because he interviewed well?
This is not a job where you have to interpret information and present it to executives. This are X and Os and you need to know how to implement and execute a game plan along with motivating your players ....
Just because a rich white guy can't doesn't understand what you're selling doesn't mean the people that is going out there to play Don't.
When you sign a free agent, you aren't interviewing the guy .. you are selling yourself, team and going off production .. so IMO the interview excuse is a cop out.
