And -- Even if they think Lock has one more year to prove it, Watson overrides that thought and then, beyond that, Watson might officially ask out after 2021 even though the rumblings have started now so they will definitely be ready to move on from Lock by then you'd have to believe.

This seems like extreme circumstances, but you could really flip him to the Jets for the 2nd pick and other picks if you really want to get the rebuild started this offseason instead of next year.
