On that note I've been seeing a pair of statue of libertys size 8 for like $165 shipped on the bay too... someone should scoop that cause thats a deal. Ive yet to find a 9.5 for less than 250 :/

. I love my pair, they're my beaters for the summer when I don't feel like pulling a pair out of its box. Probably should've doubled up, cuz I know I'll want a fresh pair for next summer. But I've never doubled up on anything, and don't see myself starting that now, so I'll just hope that something clean and mostly white comes out close to summertime next year. Maybe these but with a GUM sole, that would be

I think that's the main thing that's bugging me about missing out on them. Despite the disappointing quality, I do like the colorway and wish I'd snagged a pair. It is what it is though, if I miss on shoes and can't buy them for $20-30 over Canadian retail prices, I just move on to the next. Which is why I don't own Royal or Bred 1's either, and probably never will. It's cool, when they re-release in 8 or so years I'll try again, and by then hopefully the sneaker boom will have crashed. Or I'll just fail again
. Either way it's cool, at the end of the day they're just shoes.

These got dirty QUICK, and the leather on the side panel wasn't the best. I still break them out in the summer though.

Gino's right? I ALMOST bought a DS pair a few weeks back for a decent price but I didn't like that the paneling is just a little different. I'm kinda regretting it still
