I mean they clearly wanted Cade, no? Doubt it makes sense for them to get Suggs for SGA.Why don’t the raptors just give OKC #4 for SGA. Would be the move if they’re not trying to Fully rebuild.
#4 isn't netting OKC the type of stud prospect they actually want.OKC wants to suck. It’s clear they just want picks and probably more cap relief. Supposedly #6 and SGA was turned down for #1.

There’s a world in which the theoretical Kuminga pick has Steph Curry and Draymond Green grumbling. That’s if it’s attached to 20 guaranteed minutes per night, a healthy usage rate and all the inefficient mid-range jumpers he can eat. It’s the same with Wiseman.
But Kerr and Bob Myers have stressed that next season won’t be like this past season, when Wiseman was sporadically given exploratory freedom that was detrimental to the team’s record. They promise a simplified role and the need for him to prove he can aid in winning before he’s out there regularly.
We’ll see. But that’s been the messaging. It’ll be the same if Kuminga is added to the roster on Thursday. The picture they’ll paint is of two immense young talents needing to learn and earn their minutes. If that means a sporadic role behind Kent Bazemore or Duarte or Nic Batum or name your veteran free agent, fine. If there’s an extended midseason stay in the G League, so be it. Look what that’s done for Jordan Poole.
It's lotto protected, no?OKC also does NOT have their own pick in next year's draft. So not a ton of incentive for them to suck themselves this upcoming year. If they can move up into the top 3 of this draft, they're gonna do it.
Yeah I actually think you're right. For some reason the first 3 links I clicked on with regards to OKC's future picks all say they only had the Clippers and Suns picks and not their own for 2022. SI, Sporting News, and Nba.com wyling. It's lotto protected, no?
I don’t think this is trueTheyre not getting Cade, they don’t want to win games, and they don’t want to pay SGA. About to be an experiment over there in OKC.
