I hear that +@%% on the network everyday Proph. Cracks me up.

"Bigboobs got me."
"Where did bigboobs come from?"

My favorite is:

"I just popped off on bigboobs."

if we actually put some effort in tmrw,
it has a good chance of 'feeling' like a playoff game, considering that the raps need to win....

im so hype for the game....
my last game watching the knicks,
before they become a new team....

It's been a long season, filled with many ups and downs (mostly downs). However, a brighter future is just beyond the horizon. No matter the outcome of this off season, we should be an organization that makes smart decisions, which should translate to a better product put forth on the basketball court.

…There is also talk of the Knicks hiring a defensive coach. It has even been reported that the Knicks may take a run at Celtics assistant coach Tom Thibodeau, a former Knicks assistant under Jeff Van Gundy and Don Chaney. When he was coaching the Suns three years ago, D’Antoni rejected the idea of adding Thibodeau to his staff when it was suggested to him by Phoenix GM Steve Kerr. Thibodeau eventually landed with the Celtics, who won the title that season. Historically, Walsh allows his coach to pick his staff but he may take a more active role this summer in light of the Knicks being one of the NBA’s worst defensive teams during D’Antoni’s two seasons…

YES! That's something that seriously NEEDS to happen, of course Dantoni would reject him... Of course he'd win the title next year. LOL SMH

Do it Walsh.

Donnie Walsh definitely needs to step in and force D'Antoni to swallow some of his pride for the betterment of the team because as it stands now his coaching has produced underwhelming results. I view D'Antoni sort of as an interim coach anyway, so if he doesn't like the idea of adding a dedicated defensive coach to his squad, he can take a hike.

well put. That's exactly how I feel about D'Antoni. especially the bolded part.

Players that need to be kept:

Barron
Gallo
Walker

Lee, Chandler, Douglas & Sergio are all MAYBES depending on what happens in the offseason...

If McGrady can get stronger during the summer I say bring him back on the low low...

Let's go Knicks. Get a win. I am looking forward to seeing Gallinari scores 40 points tonight.

I'm pretty sure D'Antoni was brought in bc of his relationships w/ the USA Basketball team players to attract top free agents this year and next year, so I don't think Donnie thinks of him as a short term/stopgap/interim coach...

How deep his relationship with players is probably won't make a difference, given how Steve Nash resigned w/ Phoenix without even considering FA this year, but I guess it was worth a try, and I never understood all the Mark Jackson love (he's never coached a pro game in his life...even as an assistant)

Last game makes me think alot about the last 2 years...it's actually gone by pretty quick, maybe just bc i've been finishing up college

Personally, and I've said this before, but I hate D'Antoni because of the way his teams play basketball. They try to outscore other teams by chucking up shots, and are always soft as hell using a small lineup just because most big men can't shoot (David Lee is not a center...). He also plays favorites way too much (Q-Rich, Duhon) and doesn't care to develop any players (if Duhon didn't suck so bad, Toney Douglas would've got 0 minutes this yr)...alot has been said that his team sucks, etc....but anyone can coach a team with Steve Nash, Joe Johnson, Shawn Marion and Amare Stoudemire, and in my mind he hasn't really proven anything yet other than most players seem to like him (but how many of u loved ur coaches who didn't get on u for running hard or not playin D all the time)...Donnie rolled the dice hoping D'Antoni would help w/ getting a big FA, bc that's actually probably more important to MSG/the Knicks organization than anything else (it's always about $). I hope it pays off, bc it's a huge risk to take...

I hope they keep Sergio, Walker, Lee, Barron, and sign Camby..I don't think Lee's as bad defensively as most say, bc he's always playing out of position. All we know is he's not a good shot blocking, help defender...so adding a big man who can play help D would really help (where's Sean Williams at now, China?

)

PG: Douglas, Sergio (if he signs for the min.)

SG: (potentially, insert Max Contract FA #6
grin.gif
), Chandler

SF: Gallo, Walker

PF: Lee (if he signs for 7-9 mil per, which might actually be underpaying him)

C: Camby (if he signs for 3-5 mil per...basically Lee + Camby must <= 1 Max), Barron (if he signs for the min.)

Pretty much the same team we have now, except w/ room for 1 max player to fill in the 1, 2, or 3 spot w/ a Star (if not Lebron or Wade this year, I wouldn't be mad if they waited for Melo, or whoever's available in the future)

And TheGR8, sry i'm not swagger-jacking u writing an essay, lol, just bored btwn classes
