Quite honestly, even buying the 44th pick can't make up for this. The only draft picks we have and we waste them on some summer league #$@!#!. I'm not saying I'm expecting an all-star, but damn....I knew I shouldn't have believe anything that Walsh was trying to feed us from day one when he first took over. It sounded too good to be true.

Whats with you with DC and Okafor?
They're not that nice. With an expiring of 11 mil, you can get much better offers then that. The last thing we need is to tie ourselves with another horrible contract like okafor.

we took jhill when our top guy was a 4, and now we draft another **%#!+@ forward
our future plays the **%#!+@ THREE! He's the guy, that we reached for at 6, and we draft another **%#!+@ three. can't say it enough.
So goddamn small, and we pass on one of the best shot blockers in the nation, a category that we continue to finish 30th in
unbelievable series of events..i'm hurt

i'm fine with the syracuse guy.
gallanari and him on the wings would be serious. you guys forget that we would have great shooters which is what lebron and bosh would actually need if you put them together on a team. And he played 4 years at college which means he will probably come in and be able to play 20 minutes right away. the bulls traded away all their shooters! didn't yall watch the playoffs? that's why they lost. everyone was shooting bricks most of the games.
gallanari, rautins, walker, douglas can all shoot pretty damn good.
i really think there has to be more to this wizards bulls deal. makes no sense, the bulls picked a damn player from france who won't even play this year. why would the wizards take that off them AND henrich? for what reason? they have to send back somebody.
the other pick is what worries me. but it makes me think that chandler is gone and we will use him to get a center. why else would they draft a forward?

I don't mind Rautins, I can handle that. But not drafting a 7 footer at the time didn't make sense to me. Even though we traded for Jerome Jordan, why not take Alabi or another big with our 2nd pick? What's the worst that happens, draft a center, maybe he's solid.... we didn't need another forward.
I'm just tired of it. We didn't have an impressive showing with the picks and we didn't make any kind of moves, and I can't defend Walsh and co on this one. I felt let down big time by them.
I'm also tired of constantly getting trashed by the media. Yes, I understand Miami can sign 2 maxes and are sitting with 10-12 million right now, and could conceivably have 3 maxes if they get rid of Beasley, but THEY DONT HAVE ANYONE ELSE!! I don't !#+$%#@ get it. Suddenly Mario Chalmers is something, but Gallinari and Chandler don't even exist? According to ESPN and everyone else, it makes perfect sense if the Heat sign 2 maxes and throw 10 million at role players, but it's IMPOSSIBLE for the Knicks to sign two maxes with the few players we have.
It's been painfully obvious for awhile, hell... even at the end of the draft when they went over the cap numbers, they praised the Heat, Bulls, and Nets, but then they disregard the Knicks despite us having the 2nd most amount of money. The Heat and Bulls are praised for their smart moves to get so far under the cap, but the Knicks are desperate and laughable, I mean really?
I've tried to be rational, patient, and level headed, but there's a breaking point for everyone. At some point I have to admit we're cursed and destined to be losers forever. That time really might come in a few weeks, but we'll see. I'm going to try to be positive and keep the faith that something will go our way.
