I thought this movie was the best movie on race relations I've ever seen. It will be in my all-time list of best movies.

Great movie.

Baseball scenes were well done, the relationships between Jackie and his wife, family, players, and the sportswriter were well done too.

Saw this last week and thought it was ok at best. Had too much of a TV movie vibe and overall the film was corny.

The baseball scenes were well done. Jackie Robinson's wife stole the scene every time with her presence. She is beautiful.

Can't help but think what this film could have been if Spike Lee had got the funding for his vision. Would have been a lot better than this because you would have had a director that was passionate about the subject.
