Personally, I’d also make the purchase from a site/app that authenticates the product when you’re looking to purchase sneakers like these. It’s going to be a hassle jumping through hoops just to get your money back if they turn out fake. You’re already planning to pay the premium, so why not pay the extra to KNOW you’re getting the real deal?

However, if you are trying to save a couple of bucks, you need to really research. I paid the premium for an authentic Guava pair through eBay’s new program, but I’m still going to do my own authenticity check lol

From what I’ve researched, your MVP will be a blacklight flashlight. I solely purchased a pack from Amazon for my own authenticity checks. Here are the most telling signs that I’ve gathered from YT videos.

It’s on you. Personally I would. The initial fakes were really obvious but you never know when a new batch comes out. The LC advice posted above by illustrayt is solid but again, things change.

guavas are more limited so they are better

that's not why i said it tho. the soft, pastel pink (guava) goes better with the blue and red they used. the hard contrast of the noirs is loud. the subtlety of the guavas does it for me. at 1st it was noirs, but in hand i changed my mind

I will be doing the same thing, gotta keep that yellow stitching on the tongue.

Both laces are dope, depends.

Yellow is too stunt, black is too keep clean, low profile.

Ordering through eBay with the Authenticity Guarantee was pretty smooth! I just think the eBay tag attached should have a QR code, as they look fairly easy to replicate.
