Air Jordan retro IV THUNDER QUICKSTRIKE 12/22 before the end of the year

Trade value is always in the eye of the beholder. For my taste I would always prefer a decent quality OG color way, to a weird looking retro+, no matter how rare. But some people will crave the limited release shoes too. So my guess is you would be able to find someone willing to give up almost anything for a QS IV, even if that wasn't necessarily a good trade value

Looks like I will just have to try my luck getting these. If I cant get a decent trade, it will go off to eBay. The Bred IVs for the rest of the year unless I end up liking the DBs. I want the Black Foams as well but won't sweat not having those

Definitely NOT a GR. From what I've heard this release will be like Cavs IV's numbers wise

I wasn't really interested in the Cav 4s, but were they really that limited? My friend went to finishline in the Water Tower Place like an hour before the store opened and was 4th inline.

Not interested in this colorway, but since the IV is my favorite I try to stay up on any developments. To me, the proportions and shape of that shoe are looking as good as I have seen since 99. Seriously. Compare to the OG, Look at all that wonderful leather making the correct parallel lines on the side, and how tall the space is between the wing tab and the midsole, also, the tongue looks pretty well padded and sloped at the correct angle. No hint of the nasty banana toe really
With that said, what is up with that GIANT HONKING TOE BOX?!?!

The tongue on the shoes in the vid looks big.
And from the way the netting above the toe box is scrunched, he could pull up the tongue another half inch or so.

Never been a fan of the Thunder IV.  If you ask men they are extremely overrated, but that's only if you ask.

Think that video officially sealed these as a pass and reminded me of why I've always been lukewarm at best on these.  Just remind me of some of the oddball fakes that used to drop back in the day.  Thunders would've been much better.  Looks like it's Black Cements only for me.

man i am seriously on the fence on these... that tongue is enormous but i usually wear my 4s with jeans so that won't really effect the look on foot, not sure why the jump man is white/gry hmmmm too much stuff and my family is gettin nada for xmas with all these releases

Actually I have been hating on these and the video makes them look much better. But it is still a no go as far as rocking them. Copped for trade bait only.

Besides, my Wu-Tang shirts and all black outfits are all I can see myself really rocking with them

The materials look good, but the Thunders as a whole have always been very variant looking.  The shoe is dying for some white to balance it out.  No biggie, money saved.

I love how the shoe looks from the top/front, but I'm starting to hate all the yellow on the back side and medial side of the shoe. I think they'd look much better if the area where the air bubble is was white or if the black and yellow color scheme was switched up a bit  (maybe someone can Photoshop it?
