I’ve never owned a pair of 15s, 20s, 23s, any of the models named for years or the 30s. Only one I’m regretful about is the 23s.

had the chance to acquire the 23s for cheap. they felt so bad that I abandoned the idea of even buying them. I also passed on the 19s when they got re-released and the 18s were a definite No-No because of the abysmal colorway and material combo (suede) also, I felt some slipping on the outrigger of the shoe, maybe bad rubber outsole.

I would love to have the Chicago colorway Jordan 21 though. although the 21s have probably have the sickest colorblocking and colorways, not to mention they are playable.

They should've made the midsole black, these are basically low Eclipses with red accents.

These look more like a stealth colorway with gray uppers as much as black, and the toe cap makes it a much different look. Whatever, though. Best new Air Jordan in decades to me. I like these even more than my Chicago 34s, which I previously thought were easily the best new Air Jordan in decades
The only thing "wrong" with these is that they didn't put Nike Air on the heel. I'm buying two pairs next week.

Am I tripping? I don't see any grey, other than the mesh area that you can see through, which will look black with your black socks in the shoe.

My issue is that the midsole and down is identical to the eclipse, sans red accents.

“Other than”? It’s half or more of the upper. I highly doubt it’s just going to “look black.” And if it does, wear some white or gray socks. Then there’s the toe, which gives an entirely different look as well.

Personally, I couldn’t care less that it has the same midsole; I’d like it substantially less with a black midsole instead of white.

How many Chicago's do you have?

Hell yeah.
I only bought one pair of Chicagos. Almost caved and bought one or two more multiple times but I managed to stay strong for once . Mostly because I just have too many shoes to get through. That, and I didn’t trust the Chicagos not to turn all yellow. Truth be told, that was the main thing. It still kind of is. Mine are still white, but I’m still suspicious of how they’ll look in a year or two, even just sitting in my closet most of the time.
No such concerns with these lows, though. And I just love that type of toe treatment.

every time I see a 31 I get sad about the traction. Could have been a shoe for the ages.
