The last 6 years literally ran on the gimmick of coping old designs theres no arguing thatThese in NO way “resemble” the AJ6. Yes they have taken design cues from the 6 but that’s where it begins and ends.

There is since the new designs look nothing like the originals. I’ll give you the 31 and 32. Starting with the 33 the new designs dont even come close to the look of the originals. Design cues/inspiration yes but nothing more than that. Are you literally trying to tell me that if you put the 36 and 6 side by side, any person walking by would think they look similar? My guy, absolutely not lolThe last 6 years literally ran on the gimmick of coping old designs theres no arguing that
Ya I don’t understand why they chose to unveil them like this.. I like the traditional unveiling event.
Yep, that excitement was what it was all about for sure!!!Back when we could walk in the store the first week and still cop! I'm right there with you. I had the forums and the Air ship before the AJ 1 dropped. I love the excitement of seeing the flagship shoe every year. I guess I'm a sucker for nostalgia!
I do wish there was a bit more of a 6 tongue on these. I know it seems to be about moving forward using inspiration from past models. So I didn't and wouldn't want them to copy the 6 - but I was hoping for just a little bit more. Although as I said, my decades of looking forward to the Jordan release every year won't be affected by what I think they should've done. Still looking forward to them.I’m here for em regardless, but the line in the midsole is goofy. And no 6 tongue or homage to the tongue is just a super miss.
I'm not sure this is accurate, I'm pretty sure the Playoff colorway was the last to drop and they wouldn't have dropped later than June 2XII Flu Game (24 Years)
I believe the playoffs dropped May 31. Which do you like better?I'm not sure this is accurate, I'm pretty sure the Playoff colorway was the last to drop and they wouldn't have dropped later than June 2
Which colorway? Playoffs, no question.I believe the playoffs dropped May 31. Which do you like better?

I just want to know if you’re copping a 36.I was in college back then and I swear I remember people having the OG black/reds on campus before the school year ended. And the school year ended in early May.

Heres my og set. This is the order they dropped in.
Give me those Cherrywoods for sure. Loved my pair.A lot of good points in this thread about the company in general. I’m sure everyone has heard or seen by now the video of the two bees unscrewing the bottle cap https://m.republicworld.com/enterta...-stunned-viral-video-sets-internet-abuzz.html. If two bees can accomplish that how hard is it for a group of humans at Nike/JB to deliver better quality products and the retros we need. Such as these anniversaries below
IV Raptors Drake OVO (2 Years)
VII Ray Allen (2 Years)
XXXI Low Black/White (4 Years)
I Bred KO (Retro) (9 Years)
I Banned (Retro) (10 Years)
I Mid Alpha (14 Years)
XXII Omega (14 Years)
XVI Cherrywood (20 Years)
IV White Cement (Retro) (22 Years)

Not from what we’ve seen so far. I don’t think they look bad but it’ll take a hell of a white/black/red Chicago-style colorway and the right color blocking to sway me.I just want to know if you’re copping a 36.
