Looks like it’s just Richard being a Richard.

Or you tried them on and then ran for it.

Yo, I was sleeping. This might be the toughest colorway of the lows.

how yalls holding up in terms of the iridescent gold stripe on the midsole? mines all messed after 4 or 5 pick up runs lol.
I had the white and red cw for the mids and the shiny red stripe on the midsole was basically gone or smudged after my first two wears… was so mad lol I thought it was an actual metallic inlay and not metallic paint

If you’re hooping in them, what do you expect? If the midsole gets scuffed by someone’s foot, or yours, paint won’t be able to withstand that contact.
I think people need to realize, if they are getting shoes for hooping, they need to expect them to scuffed and beat up. It’s just what happens.

Last season this mf when I was in the high post was straight stepping on my feet purposely, definitely wanted to drop kick him. I might have “accidentally” hard fouled him later in the game.

Oh I expect it, and I wear all my shoes… was hoping for the price we pay we could get shoes that are a little durable. On my pair of 36s, if you take away the red metallic paint, the shoe is just ordinary…. Meaning some design cues either make or break the shoe. Would it have cost JB more to put a real inlay in rather than paint? Yes. But it also seems deserving of the flagship line of a whole brand. Just me tho

I get your point. it could be better but I'm not complaining much due to the fact that I'm pretty much aware that we can't keep worn shoes in pristine condition. I got shoes that I only wear casually and they still get scuffed bad. the price point isn't that bad compared to underwhelming retros. but anyways, is all the red paint completely erased or just portions of it? haven't worn my pair since last year's league games.

Yeah, I totally understand that.

I’m sure NBA players shoes are absolutely beat after just a few games.

I came to this realization when I started wearing performance sneakers since h.s. loved my shoes to death and kept them pristine as much as I can since I only got a single pair every 1 and a half to 2 years. so they were all beat up. my shoes now are in much better shape than the pairs that I owned back then but that was because I was ballin crazy. the pairs that I have that are beaten to death now only got worn down only because I wear them for work. otherwise they would still be in much better shape.

My deal is, I have shoes I like to keep pristine, and other that are kinda beaters, and then others that are absolute beaters.

My ballin shoes? I’ve just expected they gonna get beat up cause I play hard.

I get all that, my 34s have scuffs on the medial window, my 35s have toe smudge and all that but the 36s shiny stripe just rubs off fairly easy lol albeit they didn’t come prestine anyways. Trust me I expected it n it wasn’t a rant post.

It’s more of a design nitpick, feel like it could be aesthetically more pleasing without the grooves if not more durable if they had to rub off that easily.

That’s why I’m not worried if I can score the pure white/silvers lows for a deal. Wore the crazy explosive primeknit lows in all white and yeah they yellowed a bit after a ton of wears but it wasn’t as bad as I expected. And that was knit.

Rui’s arrived today from the restock last week.
Real happy patience paid off and was able to get these.
Nice details in the box & sneaker
