In my opinion, I would say they are just variations/samples. I've seen a lot of different kinds of Jordan 1's with different soles (dunk sole and now af1), wing logos, modifications (like the strap), etc.

Who copped the white grey pair on the bay for 450 or around there should of pulled the trigger at 500 when they didn't sell for that

Trying to keep this thread alive, one of my favorites. 

I haven't posted anything recently but I was able to finally get my hands on a pair of OG AJKO's! Not the best condition but happy to just have a pair. 

One of the previous owners stitched a leather patch around the ankle collar support. It can be easily removed though.  

1985 & 2014 side by side.

Not sure if it has been posted but might as well, the shoe tag just in case someone is curious.

Right on! I have a pair that I got this year, not the best nor the worst. just happy to own one. I too would like to know as well.
