i didn't say it is crap, i said it looks like crap. legend or not, it does. and if you wear them they crack more and more (which is a shame since the soles and midsoles are seemingly forever wearable and won't crack like 3's and 4's, etc.). black toes are the only ones where that won't happen.
am's and all sorts of older shoes are just as bad and worse. never said they aren't.
the lack of this problem on black toes makes me want them above all OG 1's (not to mention it's my fav colorway of 1's, more than the old loves cuz i like the white tongue better), simply because i will be able to wear them and not deal with them falling apart on me. it's a beautiful thing.
if i bought any of the ones that crack like that i wouldn't wear them, they'd be for collection strictly. they are legends, and i love and respect them. just prefer them to not crack cuz i think it looks like crap and i wanna be able to wear them.
