I've never had a pair of shoes crack/crumble on me. Looks terrible.

at some point you have to decide whether to wear them or trophy them. No matter what you do they will crack. Even if you store them in a dry , temp controlledroom, with acid free paper wrapped around them in bags and sillica packets....they will crack and erode. The shoes werent made to last that long worn orunworn. It happens no big deal.
