^that's why when one person makes a story it's always instant fail or legendary. it takes groups of people to get things flowing right with words in dialog, more minds more possibilities obviously. It's great working with people that you get so excited making the story as it goes while your writer stops the group "Ok after she says..." while your onto 5 lines ahead dying of laughter
Shows and Movies treat writing differently depending on the producers people involved. Martin Scorsese mails the person he wants in the movie a copy of the script, to read and edit as they please to their liking and he'll deeply value your opinion. along with it a personal handwritten letter to the person that he'll love you to be part of the movie and that he envisioned the character as you etc etc. While Curb Your Enthusiasm does almost opposite and random way. The writers have the actors sit together in a group reading and all they give them is a basic synopsis of the episode and the first scene setting "ok so we'll start the episode with Larry getting mad at the DMV with Susie" And right then and there with no script the actors start talking improv while the rest of the crew writes down what their saying and it's golden. It works obviously since the show is successful
