im related to felixDude just because a person is a dope fiend or they move a baby sack or 2 doesn't mean they know **** about washing 6 million in cash.
I'll give you a hint, washing 6M is difficult when you don't already have the processes and utilities in place to do so, like a well operated front organization.
I'm certainly no expert but I do have to do a lot of FINRA training for work. The money laundering module is interesting as hell. Just dealing with 6M in cash isn't easy, much less washing it.

they got caught cause it was too much
naaaah they just trash at knowing what to do

Which is exactly why you won't have enough time to wash it all before you're arrested.
Thats what the dude said, it was too much money to wash.
The process you bring up is fine but unless you're washing small increments through multiple multiple fronts (sonething you'd have to set up before the heist) and other means like a casino you wont be able to do it fast enough before the feds get you.
Also I wouldn't even do the online gambling thing cuz the feds got a whole dept that randomly shut down sites. I wasn't even washing money and almost lost/got froze out of a few grand of untaxed money.

and take lil trips here and there
build up ur credit pay off debt
so that ay u can mask ur credit and back it with cash
as in pay off all credit card debt
have ur score rise
get home loans or car loans
this is coming from a person who say has a good decent income like myelf
decided to rob a bank and or brinks
i still have money in the bank
and steady stream of income
so i can mask my stuff a lil easier

If you don't wash the money all of the 6 mil is traceable.
Sure if you dont make big purchases in questionable contexts it'll take feds longer to get you but the money will eventually be traced back to you even if you're breaking hundreds @ corner stores or with random ppl before spending money.
All of this takes time.
