Just rice.

Rice purists say the best rice is cooked in a cast iron pot, over an open flame...also you get that Hardened Rice on the bottom as a treat or best ochazuke...so can't knock cooking rice on stove top.

tbh I always leave that **** when eating dishes with it like bibimbap


on a side note. What country's rice you'll rocking with??

I’m not a fan of the hardened crispy rice for bibimbap either or the other clay pot style they have. But I like it when it’s the Chinese style.

i think these more expensive rice cookers are just better at regulating heat/moisture thats why the rice always comes out good. i think the key to cooking rice may be the amount of water you add. and different rice require different amounts. i like thai jasmine rice the best, even if u mess up the water they still come out great. and to me theyre the best for fried rice

we aint need no fancy electronics to get the perfect amount of water
