Patrick Chung's dad is Half-Chinese, I believe... I had to look this up many years ago as I was confused by his last name.

I am sick of these anti Asian attacks and violence. :smh:. I am sick of the issues the communities of minorities are facing from the white majority. Negative times, it seems, we're living in.

Guess Kamala ain’t Asian according to you

Let’s not get carried away here.

I screen shotted the link to the article.

Having seen him play maybe 50-75 times it didn’t occur to me despite the last name.

is it that serious 🤣

his Wikipedia page doesn’t even acknowledge his Asian heritage in the first 4 sections JPS JPS . By your logic everyone with the last name Lee must be Asian too?

Still here? Can’t imagine why.
Admire the dedication though if just to learn bit more of Asian Culture. Can Respect that.
Quite the stretch in your presumed response.
But if Wikipedia your go to knowledge center, then makes sense.
No judgement here. Peace.

No my logic tells me to read an entire article and not jump to stupid conclusions. My logic tells me to look beyond last names.

As far as your laziness. I didn’t need to read four sections. I clicked on personal life section of the article since I was interested to learn of his heritage.

Yikes!

I can’t be here?

Wikipedia is perfectly fine for looking up something as innocuous as a football player’s heritage.

I also don’t see why you’d have a problem with me as my message has been consistent- Stop violence against Asians without making anti-blackness a part of the message.

Seems you have an issue with that?

How is what I said a stretch based on JPS logic??

JPS JPS don’t be obtuse- in a lot of famous- semi-famous peoples pages heritage is usually the first thing mentioned. His page literally only mentions his Jamaican roots at first.

In Pat Chung’s case, it wasn’t mentioned until very late in his page. Not my fault. And also not a huge deal.

Would it also be a stretch to say that despite his last name a lot of people don’t know about his Asian heritage? I think not.

Let me address your reach of ignorance. Stop Applying your simpleton understanding of surnames to me. Yes, Lee is Asian. But it is also a common surname for English countries...

No issues here. Just really surprised you didn’t know. These days quite a number of mixed heritage folks around. Black, White, Latino, etc and Asian. Be surprised the well known names that pop up.
Way of the World.

Side note: History of Asians in Caribbean, Central & South America quite interesting. Very extensive.

I saw a PBS special on this about ten, fifteen years ago, and I was fascinated by it. The reason is that this was occurring at the end of slavery in amerikkka. The story behind such, the reasons why Chinese immigrants were coming to america, is equally interesting. I came across this article after mentioning such about the Chinese assisting in building the rails in the Caribbean.

Forgotten by society' – how Chinese migrants built the transcontinental railroad

In a new exhibition, the overlooked contribution of Chinese workers is being brought to the light for the 150th anniversary of the railroad’s completion.

When one thinks of the transcontinental railroad, rarely do Chinese migrants come to mind. But in a new exhibition at the National Museum of American History in Washington, a vital revision is presented.
Until spring 2020, Forgotten Workers: Chinese Migrants and the Building of the Transcontinental Railroad peels back the layers to see who else should be commemorated during the recent 150th anniversary of the transcontinental railroad’s completion – an achievement which has typically been celebrated with photos of old locomotives, successful-looking men in suits and anonymous workers hammering away.

But this exhibition takes a different tack, tracing the forgotten Chinese workers who built the western leg of the railroad across the Sierra Nevada mountains, connecting the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroad in 1869.

Ignorance at its finest
Bruh, thee worst

Damn I didn’t know it was such a serious violation to not know the details of Patrick Chung’s heritage.

Like I said, last names aren’t the best way to determine someone’s heritage.

I think it’s really odd that a few of you are super eager to jump on my back and criticize me over the slightest thing when every few messages I’m here standing with you as far as wanting to stop Asian violence and repeating it over and over and over.

very questionable energy among you when all I’ve been saying is leave the anti-blackness out entirely.

Grandmother went off. Bless her.
Been anticipating this response.
POS deserves no mercy.
Jackhole DA better get his radical Woke head out his rear.
District Attorney not Defense Attorney.
Lower prosecution doesn’t mean lower crime rates.
Wake the F up.

Edit:
Followup.

Other one:
That POS had violently assaulted another elderly Asian same day.
