Instead of saying the same thing over and over again. Why not organize Zoom meetings or whatever to start a new organization? The people that are really interested in making a change should get together and start brainstorming.

Like the Jewish Defense League ?

We're so diverse that we have underlying issues with each other too. Even with our own nationalities at times.

Inexcusable.
Asians just want the attacks and killings to stop.
Period. Not that hard to understand.
No confusing the message.

Been up almost 500% this week because of shibs' recommendation early this week. From $5 to $40 in AH. It'll probably go up to $50 by eom.

At times like these I kinda wish the Vietnamese and Chinese gangs/crews from the 90s and early 2000s came back to Cali (most of these dudes I grew up with are all family men these days). I remember white dudes complaining about not wanting to get into fights with even the smallest Asians because they’d be afraid of a gang of 30 deep coming through to $&@“ them up in retaliation  :pimp: I don’t support gangs in general but something needs to be done to bring back that “don’t $&@$ with us” mentality. Physically attacking elderly Asians in East San Jose and SF Chinatown would’ve been damn near death sentences back in the day if they found out who you were.

My boys and I hide our “ESJ Asian” tats (if you know about San Jose you already know this is pretty much part of the uniform ) when we go to work, and we’re all well behaved and easy going these days. I was never part of any gang, but my affiliated boys and their families eventually flourished with their “cash only” business tax savings and went legit  :pimp:

A lot of East San Jose looks like a different world compared to when I first moved there. Used to be mostly tougher blue collar demographic , and now it’s mostly geeks and rich people who obviously aren’t about that life, so it’s no surprise that racists have become more comfortable starting $&@& down there. They’re specifically targeting people in areas where they know they can get away easily without getting their @&$ beat or killed

Grandmother went off. Bless her.
Been anticipating this response.
POS deserves no mercy.
Jackhole DA better get his radical Woke head out his rear.
District Attorney not Defense Attorney.
Lower prosecution doesn’t mean lower crime rates.
Wake the F up.

Edit:
Followup.

I was dying when the video cut to the white dude on the stretcher

Apparently, she was prepared as per her son-in-law since she was attacked previously.

Where's the trigger happy cop when you need one.

We moved to what's currently part of Evergreen but back then was just considered part of East San Jose. My family lives pretty close to Silver Creek High and Andrew Hill High, so when they found out those were my two HS options, they got scared I'd end up in prison (always used to be a lot of cop cars around those schools) and forced me to go to a private high school (which had plenty of scumbags and entitled rich white kids who I think were a lot worse) all my friends who went to those high schools are doing well in life and I wish I could've gone there to save $ and all the headaches that came with dealing with stuck up wannabe Hollister models for 4 years

Pre-renovation Eastridge Mall was a dump but I still have good memories getting into trouble out there

Timing: popped up couple weeks ago.
As odd sounding, some Truth to be said.
Previous generation always wanted better for next generation.
But this isn’t it. Can’t be naive.

hah so sounds like the southeast area was worse off. Me and my cousins used to be at Eastridge a lot as teenagers in the late 90s but last time I was there was maybe mid 2000s when it was definitely a dump so good to know that it came back.

I understand the sentiment but gangs coming back is definitely NOT the answer.

A bunch of people voluntarily throwing their lives away isn’t the answer. Some gangs in theory existed to protect their communities but gangs by their nature never remain that way. Eventually they start killing and robbing each other and then that turns into random innocent people getting killed over nothing.

I don't want them back-that's why I mentioned "kinda" and that I don't support them, rather then "I definitely want them back". If there was a fantasy world where we could temporarily bring them back to protect the community I'd be cool with it, but at the end of the day (like you said) they hurt the community far more than they benefit it. Once there aren't external threats anymore, they turn that energy on their own people. That's why none of my friends who were a part of that life want anything to do with it anymore and have no regrets going legit

y'all also eat at todai?

Idk, maybe it's not really bad, but mass produced sushi buffets just sound dangerous to me  All the restaurants in that complex are TRASH though. When Chili's is the best restaurant at a mall you know the mall sucks  I only hit up Eastridge to watch movies and use the 24 Hour Fitness when I'm at my parents' place. I'd rather drive 10-15 minutes to Valley Fair or Oakridge but parking at those places during weekends gives me a headache

No, I feel you. Idk why my fam loved going there lol.

I live near Oakridge, it sucks lol. It really started dying like 10 years ago, shops/food court spots going in and out of rotation.

They were supposed to open a 99 Ranch and Meet Fresh there actually last year, but delayed I think.
