Always gonna be people into something longer than you. I got my first pair of asics outside of running in them 20 yrs ago in 2014 and I felt behind the times then. GL3’s and V’s have been a popular staple with a lot of sneakerheads for decades.

My first pair was kith rose gold GLV which was my GT-II rose gold consolation prize. Agreed I felt late as hell then and you best believe now I'm a bitter old head saying I been had asics

Just got my HAL GRs in from Asics and I don't know if I'm being tricked by the HALs hype, but they are really nice in hand. I didn't think I'd like the tan pair because of the salmon accents but in person they aren't bad at all. The gray pair are nice but I already knew I'd like those.

I'd say more dull than vibrant but it's a deep blue if that makes sense? If you're wondering just purchase off Asics. They have free shipping and returns. Nothing to lose.

I don’t have the HALs for comparison but these shoot above the price point for the quality.
