Good work, why did plant the grass seed now with fall and winter coming? Are you planning on using Scott's winterizer on it? Did you buy all the equipment in the picture or rent some of it. Plans for the side of the front yard? Very nice house, what state is this in? Last how far down did you run the irrigation system?

memphissfinest memphissfinest damn bro, you must have had experience in that type of work before, that’s not a “watch a YouTube video, let’s go” type of project
That is one thing I love about having a house and a backyard you can try out all types of things and learn. My problem is I have two little ones that don't want to wait for dad to figure them out. LOL. Again dope job on that work man, would love to see more of the house if you don't mind. Spot kind of reminds me of like a TV show house with the garage in back.

You’re right, I’m kinda over DIY projects, I’ll do basic stuff but otherwise I rather pay someone lol. I do wish my dad taught me how to do some **** but it is what it is. That whole yard project- take my $$$ lol

THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. IVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE. I WATCHED A FEW YOUTUBE VIDEOS AND THEN GOT AFTER IT. I GUESS ONE THING THAT WORKS IN MY FAVOR IS IM A QUICK STUDY AND IM NOT AFRAID TO MAKE MISTAKES.

1. FALL IS THE BEST TIME TO PLANT NEW GRASS OR OVERSEED AN EXISTING LAWN IF YOU LIVE UP NORTH FOR COOL SEASON GRASSES.

2. I’M NOT GOING TO USE WINTERIZER ON IT. IM GOING TO DO WHAT IS CALLED SPOON FEEDING AND THE FALL NITROGEN BLITZ, WHICH IS FEEDING THE LAWN SMALL AMOUNTS OF NITROGEN FERTILIZER WEEKLY TO GET IT TO THICKEN UP AND GROW DEEP ROOTS BEFORE THE WINTER. THAT HELPS IT SURVIVE WINTER AND GREEN UP HEALTHY AND QUICK IN THE SPRING.

3. I BOUGHT ALL THE EQUIPMENT EXCEPT FOR THE TRENCHER. THE GREEN MACHINE IS A REEL MOWER FOR GETTING A BETTER CUT THAN A TRADITIONAL ROTARY MOWER.

4. FOR THE SIDE I JUST PLANTED 5 SPARTAN JUNIPER TREES AND MULCHED IT. GRASS DOESNT GROW PARTICULARLY WELL ON THE SIDE SO NOT GONNA FIGHT IT THERE.

4. HOUSE IS IN CLEVELAND, OH.

5. IRRIGATION LINES WERE DUG DOWN 12”

I had 6,000sq ft of sod installed beginning of summer, during the worst droughts in CA  :smh:

My gfs family member is a groundskeeper for a resort and he and his team helped me get it done for cheap..

Removed gravel, repaired existing irrigation, prepped soil and laid sod

That **** is expensive af. I was looking at doing about a 12x15 piece of turf (if that) and I got quotes from $800-2400

yeah but add up your yearly water and maintenance costs and in the long run you will be saving my guy

unless u hank hill and obsessed with grass go for synthetic

we got raccoons and coyotes out here in Leimert Park/View Park. I feel like they'd tear up the fake grass. They already **** up the real ****

MOFO out here got the grass looking like Yankee stadium. Looks dope man, gift and a curse man having a yard. I would love to rip up everything but I am sitting on a quarter acre. Did you say what type of seed you used, if so don't worry about it I will go back and check.
