disagree. your lines are your cornerstones of the team. without d-line pressure, i don't care how good your secondary is, you will get beat. our d-linemen are soft and ineffective. screw vonnie holliday, harbaugh was right, he sure wasn't anything to work with.

You seem to forget that we drafted a crapload of linemen this year. That improvement is coming, but you can't expect it to happen over a half-season. The defensive secondary on the other hand is an issue that has not yet gotten sufficient attention.

And I'm not even going to get into that WR corps, headline by the Ginnbust family.

merling and langford are not a crapload, that's 2 guys. roth is a vet. starks is a vet. holliday, ferguson, both vets. the d-line needs an anchor and wedon't have that right now.
