Finally got to play B2K. All of them are pretty good maps, but the maps that stood out for me were Gulf of Oman

(if i only knew how to make the F-35 hover

) and Wake Island (with a good chopper pilot and gunner, it's too easy to own the objectives in Rush).

Too many Snipers/Campers in Strike at Karkand.

Sharqi Peninsula is great for Conquest, though.

played all 4 maps on cq and i have to say i'm disappointed in how they changed it, from the start it should (all capture points) be neutral
have yet to play these maps on tdm, and rush but most likely i'll try that out tonight
the maps are HUGE... dare i say just a little too big

at least for 24 players

So ive heard good things about PC's Patch that came out yesterday. So thats a good sign.
Only thing i dont like is that they said they nerfed Flares on Jets. 

 Making for longer reload times. Wack. 

Back to Karkland is a good addition to the game with the new maps & weapons .

And finally, Zh1nt0, confirms a date when 360 users will get their patch..

Yup, but I believe there are specific servers that only people with B2K can access, that has the regular playlist in addition to the B2K maps.

Yup, jet flares are nerfed. 

Anybody know how to make the F-35 hover? I died like 5-7 times trying to learn how to.

Well, the maps are Battlefield 2 maps, which is a PC game, so the maps are definitely bigger. I'm okay with that, but it sucks respawning on a carrier without a vehicle.

I used the Hover feature once but i think this is how i did it. 
You have to use L2. Your Break/Deceleration Button.
You will see your jet open up some flaps. Just make sure you didnt bleed your speed too much. You'll know this if your landing gear deploys.

If that happens. Just hit the Afterburners & Hold R2 to gain speed. Again.

I picked up someones Famas. That thing is pretty beast.

But 3 things.

Worst. And i mean BY far thee worst Iron Sights in the game.

Reload is kinda slow.

And lastly, that thing fires so fast, that it chugs through those 30 rounds like there is no tmw...

FAMAS has a rate of fire of 900, so ya its faster then F2000, but i do agree...it has the worst iron sight

So that's why... Need to unlock that quick. At least it's something to counter my latency against servers around the region.

Geez i sucks at this game so bad.

It's like i have to spray the whole clip to kill just one guy

^ Try to fire in bursts. 2-3 bursts kill most dudes (on a good connection). And squad up with some friends. Easier to get kills.

Frag-12 rounds did get noticeably nerfed, but it seems fair enough. Takes about 3-5 rounds to kill someone now.

Rush on Sharqi Peninsula is

Pretty challenging MCOM placements, similar to Kharg Island Rush difficulty, I guess, especially with the final MCOM station placement. Good stuff.

Found out the details of the assignments... FAMAS is pretty easy to unlock, apparently (even easier on Operation Metro Conquest 64).

20 kills with Sniper rifles + 5 laser designations

for PP-19 (Familiar Territory):
Arm 10 MCOMs + Capture 10 Flags + Play 2 hours on Karkand

for L85A2 (Professional Russian) (must complete Best Friend Forever):
100 kills with Assault Rifles + 20 kills with Underslung Grenade Launcher + Win 5 rounds of Squad DM

for QBZ-95B (It goes Boom!) (must complete Fixing it):
50 AT rocket kills + Destroy 1 enemy vehicle with repair torch + win 5 rounds of Conquest

Ok. So i finally unlocked the Famas for myself.

Had a game with it on Metro. Had to use the M16A3 for a little bit but anyways.

Son. SON!

Dat Famas.

Even with no attachments (DICE trollin w/ the 12x Scope default attachment

) just hip fire that thing and youre money until you unlock a decent sight
Crazy fire rate with laser like accuracy. People will scream that its OP. Which in all honesty. It is. Just like the IRNV scope was/is. 

Also, F2000 needs a nerf. That thing needs more recoil & spread.
