^ Yeah stalling is pretty annoying. Especially in Conquest. It's like you know death is coming soon when you're hanging up there defenseless

When you do the loop, be sure to slightly exaggerate it when you're perpendicular to the ground. ie, don't make the turn as tight as possible. The object is to put as much clearance b/w you and the missiles trajectory, so when you're facing the ground, keep going forward just a bit. It makes the loop less of a half circle and more of a slight oval.

You'll eventually get a feel for how long to wait before initiating the turn. I wish I had a capture card or something to explain in better. It was a complete accident that I found this out. I still have flares equipped for when I'm chasing a target. I hate when I have to dodge the missile and end up losing the guy. Especially now (after the patch), when downing the opponents jet takes a bit longer.

did some more matches using this maneuver today, just to be sure it really does work. I got hit twice. The first time I got hit was b/c I panicked and initiated the turn way too early. The second one was a conscious decision (right after the first one hit). I never had equipped Extinguisher before, so I decided to eat the second one to see how it worked (in the end, Flares > ECM Jammer > Extinguisher). Those were the only two times I was hit. I avoided maybe 30 missiles today. Only got hit just those two times. Your timing has to be somewhat accurate. As long as you're exiting the loop just as the missile gets to you, you're good. You'll see it pass by right over you. Do it too late and, since most of your plane is exposed to the missile during the turn, you'll get hit. Do it too early and the missile has a straight path to you. You have some leeway w/ the timing, but you'll eventually get a feel for it. Try it out in a game of Rush, where there's less going on than in Conquest. I got a few lovely rage messages today after I went 13-0. Not a single flare was popped that match

So everyone running with the famas now.. Kinda dumb.

Still think F2000 is one of the best guns in the game but have yet to try the famas.
 
^ because the FAMAS is too dumb easy to unlock, and #$%@@ on the F2000 in gun-on-gun scenarios (and pretty much everything else except for those awful iron sights), basically.

havent touched the game in weeks. game runs nice and smooth when i tested sharqi 64. dice and ati must be doing something right.

IRNV def changed, but could seem somewhat usable. but i stopped using it mostly anyway, so ill be sticking with rds.
Sunlight still blinding to the power of 10. one of the first things i noticed on sharqi.

Only played like 10 minutes of sharqi and karkand, but the new design is great (so far). couldnt even tell its the old maps.

I hope they add some special forces map like warlord and maybe a couple more BF2 maps like the big *@# dragon valley or jalalabad.
scratch dragon valley. didnt play it much. a map like that. there's gotta be an increase in vehicles. but something like mashtuur or dalian.
Yeah, the IRNV is still somewhat usable. Strike at Karkand is the best Rush map, yet! Sharqi a close second.  

Definitely love this map pack.

i thought the assignment features would force me to play more rush, but pp19? not so sure about that.

There's Team deathmatch like MW3.

Then there's conquest & rush where you take over bases and fight in huge maps. Lots of teamwork is involved. If you have crap team it can be frustrating.

Better graphics engine than MW3.

There's vehicles like jets, boats, helicopters, tanks.

Desructible buildings and walls.

Man when I first got this game all I did was play Rush and I became decent. After that I switched to TDM and got good at that usually top 3 in the team alot of times. Now I switched back to Rush/Conquest I ##*@+%* suck lmao. What's even worse is when you team don't know what their doing smh.

in bc2 all i would use is the LMGs now i use assault rifles more. i think im just too lazy to level up to get better guns now.

good bunch of games, though. it just sucked our squad got split, and the team we got on sucked for the last two matches.
