I dunno, man.

I feel like the whole Keanu-Jesus thing is just The Matrix and maybe another movie or two tops.

And Tyler James Williams, aside from
I had to google that pic to make sure it was real. Thought some of those presidents finally grew a pair but it turns out that It was just a satirical travel advisory drafted by a Kenyan cartoonist.

This podcast did a whole ep about it and really went in-depth with a lot of info:

^damn man, interesting stuff up there.

Gry60, I saw you posting about Africans fighting in WW1 and WW2. Any links to more info and specifically on German colonies. I learned last year that
Cameroon and Togo were German colonies that were ceded to the French and British. Any info would be appreciated.

Google "Rhineland bastards" to read about Afro-German life before and during the third reich.

Found this link too. I've only skimmed it and there seems to be a lot of info in the comments:

I will add more names/links to check out on the subject later. There is much more stuff available in german that hasn't been translated in english though.

Anybody see Ava Duvernay's documentary 13th?

Yea, put me on to ALEC and the foolishness they do. But other than that, it was stuff I knew already, still great for those that didn't know.

People ignore the fact that we were in Germany too being mistreated because, u know, it's convenient.

What I learned most from it was convict leasing. There's a book I've been wanting to get that was about how blacks were reenslaved in the south during the late 1800s to about WWII called Slavery By Another Name

any books similar to Malcolm X Autobio

the best book i ever read, i'll like to see another book give me that kind of insight on black culture

Edit: I was thinking about editing my post above about Blacks in Germany when I came across this:

During Hitler’s pre-war years, IBM helped the Reich cross-index those identified as Jews in the census with professional and industry registers and organizations. Once German Jews were exposed in their professions, they were summarily fired.

They did a doc about it on PBS, I watched it. Would hit em w/ the "You stole this land, you're going to jail" even though they leased the land from the owner :smh: Crazy
