Black Culture Discussion Thread

Also you gotta realize the others wouldn’t even make that joke. You think they would let a white comedian make fun of a black womans appearance?

i think this is 100% fact, women (black women especially) are just about unassailable by popular culture (explicitly at least…altho definitely not the case implicitly) the thought experiment is: were it the case it was a white comedian, does will feel similarly disrespected? would his action be viewed differently had open hand slapped this white comedian in the same manner?

Idk because I can’t picture it happening. Like I don’t think Bill Burr or Ricky gervais is getting on that stage and making fun of Jada. It just wouldn’t happen

But let’s reverse the roles. If Jimmy Kimmel got up there and made a joke about let’s say brad Pitt or Ben afflecks partner. They wouldn’t have walked on stage but there would def be a slap afterwards

perhaps…i do think if it were a kimmel & brad pitt, kimmel would not have any reservations about pressing charges; for chris there exist much more calculus unfortunately

NY Post is something else. On top of slandering her already, they know what they're doing with this and the usual suspects are still going to fall for it.

Hampton barley made top 50, ranked 48. Morehouse barely made top 30, ranked 28

Glad to see Dillard on that list - 38.

Fellow HBCU alumnus, where’s your school ranked?

This list above is based on student satisfaction not academic or graduation, faculty with Ph.D.’s, students entering grad school, financial stability or Endowment.

This one includes more factors outside of student satisfaction. Most of the weight (40%) is Graduation rate, Federal Loan debt and social mobility.

It doesn’t include student opinion at all.
