They aren't hiring police due to their intellect but to be honest if the test is standardized you need to pass the test regardless of your demographics. The article didn't make it clear as to how it was exactly discrimination. I also don't think the questions are culturally biased either, it's math and situational problems. Maybe I'm missing something?
