Breaking Bad Thread - "El Camino" - A Breaking Bad Movie on Netflix 10/11

I believe Jesse did venture all the way to Alaska, all the while picking up Brock immediately following his escape.

Similar to the ending that Vince construed:
Still, Gilligan holds out hope for Pinkman. "Even though that's the most likely outcome," he said, "the way I see it is that he got away and got to Alaska, changed his name and had a new life. You want that for the kid. He deserves it."

But in a Hollywood alternative universe, he drives off and subsequently, commences Need For Speed.

He's been through so much that I don't know if he can come back from it.

If he was smart he'd take that money Walt have him go get Andrea and Brock then just start over a new life in Alaska

Wouldn't he have been assumed dead after being missing for so long?

And once the police found Andrea dead wouldn't Jesse be the prime suspect?

Hell naw, the feds are still looking for people who've been ghost since the 80s.

how long was he missing for? not that long, few months? a year?

no chance he goes for Brock. after andrea's murder her place is probably under surveillance at all times.

in the event he ducks the police, it'd only be a matter of time until he's shacked up in some abandoned home shooting up.

so either he gets caught by the police and eventually kills himself.

or he kills himself from ODing off that smack.

either way I can't see him not killing himself in the end. he not built for that fugitive life nor that prison life.

that said I got love for the kid, even if he did snitch. i would like to believe he livin' in Alaska starin' up at that Aurora Borealis, puffin' clouds of that Alaskan Thunder ****, smashin' some eskimo ho, but that's just not the breaking bad way.

I think it was a few months.

few months?

and if they connect him to andrea's murder or find that confession tape?

he'd be on the FBI 10 most wanted list until they found the body.

that tape right there completely kills any chance of Jesse living any semblance of a normal life. unless hank put it somewhere that only he and only he can find it there's just no believing that he got away scot free.

plus his prints are all up in the nazi's meth lab, his prints all up in that compound murder scene, and he's driving a stoley.

he's ******.

Jesse goes to Alaska and becomes an ice road trucker. He drives trucks...on ice.

The way you said it originally made it sound like he should go get Andrea after Walt set him free.

Walt didn't give him a giant bag of money when he set him free. Jesse had a chance to leave and I'm sure they would have went with him.

u cant rewrite the show to suit what u wanted to happen :rolleyes

The last two pages have been hypotheticals coming up with ideas

Personally I wish Jesse got killed. One of the themes of the show that hit hard is how nobody really wins, everyone lost something important at the end. Whether it was their life, money, sanity or loved ones everybody lost.
