Seems more like he had a procedure instead of a piece.
He probably wasn't wearing it when he went in the water. Hair pieces don't grow, guys (or girls) just get them replaced with different styles (i.e. Jaime Fox and his closet of hair styles). Good ones can be pretty pricey, which is why you see some normal Joes walking around like they have a dead cat on their head, but Sylvester Stallone looks like he has a stellar head of hair (yes he wears a hair piece). Also explains why Tyga can seamlessly go from high top to low cut to high top and back overnight. The dude is wearing a wig. Period. He might have had an attempt at a hair transplant but I'm not sure. Lebron 100% had a hair transplant. Thats not even a question.
Nah nah nah I don't agree with this because there is no real hair in the front of his hairline that can even grow longer
no, tyga cuts behind his hairline and brushes the frontline forward. he has a section on the front of his hairline that he lets grow longer and lays down. he then uses fibers to give density. this is what he's been doing since he grew his haircut. it is essentially the black comb over or comb forward as someone else said. it is more noticeable on shorter cuts. imagine donald trump but brushed forward and thats what tyga does
A weave transplant? His hairline has finally gone viral. Media take out has put him on blast!

he grew out the front of his curved hairline and brushed it forward then cut the longer hairs to look like a line. same thing women do with bangs. its like edging up baby hairs that have been brushed forward, but in his case they are just the frontmost section of his actual curved hairline that he grew longer.

dummies gonna be dummies. i've done the cut before.
**** yo barbering license
you are right ; his hair is permed. he does the same to his corners and fills in with fibers. this doesn't always work out though as you can tell from the video where he did that "good day in la" little rap. you can clearly see the hair is not laying down because its hot out.For as well as your explained theory was I just don't see how this is even possible. Even if he did a "comb forward" just by letting the front part of his hair grow the hair still wouldn't lay straight over his forehead unless he permed it or something. On top of all of that his corners still wouldn't grow as thick as the rest of his hair anyway.

I'm sure I do know more about hair loss than you, which I'm not necessarily proud of. But as a barber you should educate yourself more on hair loss and the options men have to conceal it, whether it's medically, surgically, or with hair systems (wigs). If you think the below picture is the result of a comb over or comb forward or whatever you are calling it, you are wrong papi

I'm sorry, you're right. I'm wrong.
There's no way that someone can grow their hair longer on top, get an s curl and lay it down for a photoshoot. I don't know what I was thinking. I guess this pic wasn't taken when he first started his curly fade either.
