How do you guys get the two monitor thing working? Oh and can you surf different things on each monitor?

I was just thinking about putting mine together sometime soon. Haven't built one in a few years (since I got my laptop). I have all the components for whatwould be an average system now. I will go through this thread when I have time. Good bump

Depends on your video card, mine has two DVI outs on it. Inside the video card settings, you can choose what kind of layout you want, left/right,horizontal/vertical or whatever. And yeah you can do different things on each monitor.

No. It's more for business type stuff where you need more room on a desktop but not wanting to sacrifice resolution. IE making things too small to readjust to make it all fit.

What other questions you got?

I got a couple more parts such as the DVD drive that I didn't mention but everything came out to be $1450 on newegg.

Edit: Oops. I forgot to add the motherboard to my original post. Fixed it.

just bought a microsoft sidewinder x8 for $30 (microsoft will discontinue the sidewinders for good and focus on other peripherals) and a Life Cam 5000 for $20 yesterday, clearance prices ftw
