**CHIEF KEEF**

You know things changed when dudes our loving songs in which you have to listen closely just to hear him speak coherent lol

nirvana mumbled their way to being recognized as the best band of the 90's

"Smells Like Teen Spirit"

Load up on guns and bring your friends

It's fun to lose and to pretend

She's over bored and self assured

Oh no, I know a dirty word

Hello, hello, hello, how low? [x3]

Hello, hello, hello!

With the lights out, it's less dangerous

Here we are now, entertain us

I feel stupid and contagious

Here we are now, entertain us

A mulatto

An albino

A mosquito

My libido

Yay! [x3]

I'm worse at what I do best

And for this gift I feel blessed

Our little group has always been

And always will until the end

Hello, hello, hello, how low? [x3]

Hello, hello, hello!

With the lights out, it's less dangerous

Here we are now, entertain us

I feel stupid and contagious

Here we are now, entertain us

A mulatto

An albino

A mosquito

My Libido

Yay! [x3]

And I forget just why I taste

Oh yeah, I guess it makes me smile

I found it hard, it was hard to find

Oh well, whatever, nevermind

chief keef coulda wrote that gibberish , come at me bro

:rollin You're right though. I always thought Nirvana was super over rated. Cobain turned himself into a "martyr" and I feel thats why their famous. Foo Fighters >>> Nirvanva in all ways, shapes, and forms.

But to keep it on track, album is just what I expected. Nothing ground breaking. But will save for the speakers in the truck and when bitties want to get hit with the base at parties.

theres more aspect to good music than stupid lyrics ,

if you nice withe the quadruple entendre's and metaphors

than go be a starving poet dawg , its clearly not about

the fame , success and money for you....each one teach one , right?

theres

- mic presence

- resonating with people

- ear for beats

-flow

-delivery

someone like NAS may be great lyrically but his ear for production , which is HUGE in music.... is horrible ,

also if he tried to go the waka/keef road , he really wouldnt go anywhere because it would lack rawness

and authenticity....it wouldnt be pure.

keef has the "it" factor  , the first chief keef

song and video i saw i gravitated towards the music , some rappers will never have that effect on people no matter how long they been rapping .......they be rapping for 12 years with no real success and just bitterly say "this new generation so wack , i could kill these new rappers".......it urks me

hip hop in its PUREST FORM is BREAK DANCING , BLOCK PARTIES , DJING AND RAP BATTLES

80's rap battles wasnt about lyics , it was about what mc got the crowd hype saying the freshest rap ,

you could literally be like "WHEN I SAY BROOK .......U SAY LIN" and get the crowd to boo some overly lyrical

rap nerd , you had to have charisma and a certain charm and appeal.

im tired of lyrics=good rapper

papoose is a crazy lyricist and one of the wackest rappers to walk this earth

tupac was a decent lyricist and changed the lives of millions of people

This album did not disappoint, which has been hard for me say lately. It is exactly what I expected it to be if not more. You guys trash talking the album what were you looking for? Illmatic? We all know how Chief Keef gets down by now,.

Mike presence is an extreme rarity nowadays. Who had mic presence? Big L, Canibus, Method Man  Tash from the Liks, Kurupt , Starang Wondah

Why do they have Mic presence part lyricism part flow, part just something special you can't explain you just couldnt wait to hear them on a featured track. Does this happen nowadys rarely. You can maybe use 2chainz as an example but he's biting a NY Punch rappers flow

Resonating with the people -Not sure what this means, sounds like Nino Brown handing out Turkeys to the community or something. Just about about every rapper that does a show whether its Tech9ne or Shawty Lo or B.O.B all have fans and all show up at the shows and know the lyrics this means nothing to me

Ear for beats- Not to knock Keef because he's a little different with his raps and his flow than most. But he is a product of a sound (ChopBeatz) w/o Chop or a similar sound like mentioned in this thread he would still be another Youtube rapper. Just like No Limit rappers  where held down by Beatz by the Pound, Mannie Fresh held down CashMoney and Dj Uneek held down Bone thugs n harmony. Sometimes the success is not the same w/o these producers. Snoop never made a anything hot after Doggystyle.  Sure you can have an ear for beats but for some rappers especially non lyricists, a weak beat would equal a disaster just about everytime

-Flow and Delivery -   Lets keep it real how many of these new rappers even are practicing on the flow and delivery. Lets be real. Only lyricists do this and take time on this I digress we all know this.

Every classic Nas album had sick/classic beats. Sure he didn't always rhyme on the best tracks but I doubt he had a Jay-z budget every time his album was set for release.

You can be tired of lyricist = good rappers but its the truth. There are still 100's of good rappers that were lyricist but the best rappers are lyricists.

The Papoose argument is null and void he never got a chance to release an album and is a victim of being an NY lyricist in the mid 2000's when the game was transitioning to labels giving South artists a look.

^Co effin sign :hat

Chief Keef and "flow/delivery" in the same sentence :lol :lol Let's be real, this dude is mumbling background noise to some banging beats and that's it.

I was expecting Back From The Dead. Not this poo poo platter

Bruh... This kid is not a rapper.

Have you seen his interviews? Dude answers questions with "yeah" or "nah". Like he was fresh out of an interrogation room, hopped a cab, went to the radio station, and got on the mic for an interview.

Sweatergawd I'd cross the street if I ever seen this dude walking towards me on a side walk.

All hate aside, the young people in NYC are def riding with Chief Keef. He seems to be the next big thing.  I work with teenagers and so far three boys have their braids done in away that resembles Keef's dusty dreads.

All hate on the table, young people don't know what real hip hop is and unfortunately Chief Keef is a semblance of what they think hip hop should be. I mean when you compare him to lames like Soldier Boy and Tyga, I guess he does seem legit.

I hate modern hip hop.
