**CHIEF KEEF**

What's the story behind the JayLoud murder?

JayLoud was JoJo's best friend. He was wearing a hoodie that said rip JoJo or JoJo's world, got into a argument with a group of dudes about the shirt and they left him.:{
It's true tho, this kid was going hard taunting his enemies but in THAT LIFE that's what they do. Sad all around b, this stuff happens everywhere all the time.

Chicago just hit 500 murders for 2012 this has Nothing to do with keef and his gbe click with songs like "Up them poles" keefs music makes you calm & gives You serenity

I wouldnt blame it all on son. But yea he's adding to it. Which pisses me off.

I know for a fact when I was young & dumb Crime Mob influenced me to do gutta **** more than those grown *** rappers who was out at the time.

Yall keep bringing up older rappers when common sense should tell you a 17 year old rappin bout not being sober is a ****** problem. We never had no **** like this before you got this ***** and a 12-14 year old Lil Mouse gangster rappin. ANd add to the fact they from the murder capital. And yall calling it entertainment?

I just hate yall and other negroes I know are just sitting around saying its only entertainment and its the environment. But as soon as ****** get shot up yall looking for a secret society, government or white man to blame. **** is occurring in ya backyard. But its only entertainment? Smarten the **** up.

this is why Jay's antisocial self barely did interviews

Him & Drake are doing it right. Put out music and ****** disappear.

Main reason these dudes got more interviews than songs outchea is because they want to be seen not heard.

Game aint bout talent and music no more its just a bunch of Paris Hilton/Kim Kardashian *** ****** looking to be famous.

I hate ****** preachin and ****. I work with the youth dawg. so **** like this hits home especially seeing first hand the effects week in week out

Yes but not as much as I use to. And even still I wouldnt condone these young ****** talkin bout murkin ******.
I hear you but I'm disagreeing with the point about the ages. Same ****** that listen to Flocka listen to Chief Keef.

If anything we're seeing the effects of the generation that grew up listening to Gucci, Jeezy, etc.

NOW ****** is starting to see the cause and effect? This **** been happening.

He sold more than Future AND Flocka's debuts but their HUGE records became singles after the release of his album.

Keef has nothing as good as I Don't Like or Love Sosa left on the album.  He already dropped those, got co-signs from Kanye and Drake, and every rap blog.  Pitchfork practically campaigned for him themselves, he got major features from 50, Wiz, Jeezy, Ross (and the entire GOOD music camp basically with his collab), released his album in the christmas season and he still only sold 50k...?  And now he's pissed his label off?  They might shelve him.

People did see this coming...
Hate Being Sober won't be as big as Love Sosa?

Ehh...the video was finished with Keef finishing his part separately. Wiz is even on record saying that him missing the shoot wasn't a big deal and people made that seem bigger than what it was.

50 is mad because he couldn't get that 30K out of the kid to have his people shoot the video.
I had originally written "Hate Being Sober" isn't as good as either of those songs but could be a popular radio single.  I guess I deleted it accidentally when I typed out his features.

I didn't realize they finished the video, from what I had read, the label was upset and the video never got done.  That could be his saving grace, as far as relevance and buzz, but if he can't sell albums, singles, OR concert tickets, what good is he?

I'm glad people are still thinking out there.

CITGO

I dont know half of what he is saying. I looked up the lyrics and forgot em

Cant stop playing it though. I see why everbody tryna rap like him now

I agree but soulja wasn't nearly as violent in his lyrics.
Waka paved the way for N_'s like Chief

right, it was right the first time... Flocka (even tho I cut for dude something awful when he first dropped) def paved the way....

Soulja was rapping about dancing and **** :lol Being a kid , man. I mean he talked about stuff but not the extent like these kids outta the Chi is talking about.

So you mean to tell me that a broken school system, A ****** family structure, Dangerous environments, and an overall breeding pot for ignorance all take the backseat to Chief Keefs violent rap.

The music dont have nothing to do with it man, this **** is a direct result of ****** up politics and the mindset of not just the "ghetto" but all of america that "Money comes First". it's all politics in this world and people putting off promlems for more profit. Whether the kids are listening to Keef or if they were brought up on Lupe this **** is still going to happen

Nobody is blaming Keef directly its just dangerous to give what is seen as the worst part of the environment a microphone especially at the influential age he represents. Why cant we give the positive images an equal voice?

Like I said kids that age arent influenced as much by the older rappers but you give them what is seen as a negative influence that is the same age as them its even more dangerous. I know that from experience And we've never had anything like Keef before.

Trying to change the outside infrastructure or "system" is harder to do which makes it easier to place all the blame. Its easier & more efficient to try to fix our backyard first but its the hardest to place blame because it puts responsibility on you.

So pulling Keef to the side and explaining the power he got and how he has to balance the influence is all it takes. Yea violence will still go on but to act like it wont deter a couple of unnecessary violent acts from occurring amongst young people is delusional. Thats more important to me than having a couple 3 minute tracks for however long his 15 minutes he got left.
