**CHIEF KEEF**

Them GD youngins want his head after that JoJo situation.

It didn't make the news but two youngins from Keef's block got dropped a week after JoJo's murder in retaliation.

I was with my cousin on 79th last night getting some cigs. The guys we were chopping it up with said keef can't ride thru without getting lit up. Dude has a target on his head on quite a few blocks on the southside.

Crazy part is that if he gets dropped and has to come back home...what happens to him :{

He's been home numerous times since the deal. Most recently a day before his album dropped. It's not that serious to the point where he can't be in the city.

At the end of the day...this would have been the case with or without rap. People that get that "entertainment" **** ****** up keep forgetting that these dudes are legit BD's. They were banging before the music **** so it would have came down to him not being allowed in certain areas...rap or no rap.

One of the youngest dudes in the game out here living the life these dudes that are 30 and older can't stop rapping about.

I respect the element KEEF represent because he really livin his lyrics I feel hiphop is what you live, living or what you been through that's what hiphop was back in the day...Rappers today get away with fakin da funk...

does he really have Aspergers?
It would make sense as to why hes like that in interviews...
I just think he's like that because
1)hes still a kid
2) he probably gets annoyed of all the same ol questions
3) a lot of interviewers try and make jokes or hate on him
4) hes hood
5) he isnt tryna wake up at 6 am and do interviews, no one likes that

Man I think saying he has Aspergers would be an insult to people who have Aspergers

Why do yall think son has millions or a million?
Because the pr depth set up a couple photo ops with rented rarris?
Son ballin off of borrowed money.
Artists with actual album sells & hit records don't become "millionaires" til years down the line.
It's a shame labels feel the need to have to shine **** by making these dudes "look rich" this only happens in rap be.
Ain't no press release about Justin Bieber signing with def Jam for $2 mill. Ain't no photo ops of Taylor Swift copping a Ferrari her first year out.
**** only happens in rap cause yall eat that dumb **** up

*drops mic for you*

Basically.

REAL ...KEEF Remind me of rappers out my city SOULJA SLIM, C-MURDER, MAC etc but they only thing they dead or locked up but hey that's the life they choose..Either you gonna be a REAL GANGSTA or not it's no in between...****** like ROSS & all them clowns playing a like Gangsta KEEF is really getting ****** knocked off basically he doing everything that these fraud rappers are rapping about...Rappers today way too phony & homo for my liking son..KEEF is the definition of keepin it REAL..

Just seent the video where dude had said "I'ma kill you"

But really though. It's crazy to see kids that young acting like this. Yes, they get credit for presenting the truth in their lyrics, but this truth is of such detriment not only to themselves, but their peers, and their audience. I just hope these kids can get their heads out of the streets man. Life is too short, especially when you envision a kid talking gangsta **** and getting gunned down as a result.

I feel that too but you don't have be like KEEF to be real IMO just rap about what you living you dig it's like ROSS one mintue he rapping bout spending a mil then the next you getting Keys str8 off the boat..smh I would respect ROSS more if he was rapping bout Luxury living & mansions cause thats how he living...It's like BIG said " I can't rap about selling drugs & being on the corner no more cause I ain't livin like that no more" I think if more rappers took than approach they would get more respect..

If you sign for a mil thats your budget! its not like being an athlete man
laugh.gif
It depends . . . some situations it's your budget, which I think is the situation with Trinidad James . . . but some labels give out signing bonuses . . . for example back in 09 when YM gave Drake a $2 Million Signing Bonus, meaning that was outside of whatever money he got as an album budget . . .

I don't remember the details of Keef's deal though. I don't think he got a signing bonus.

Mac, C-Murder, and Soulja Slim's names brought up in relation to Chief Keef :{ I get the point, but :{ :{

So y'all applaud dude because he is a "real gangster" and is really "about that life"? I guess I have my morals all out of whack then......

smh so of you value the wrong things man...

I'm saying. Dudes pick and choose when they wanna be social ambassadors. When it's Ross, dudes wanna be like he's hurting the youth but when it's Keef, dudes wanna celebrate and applaud someone half their age being trapped in a dumb pointless cycle.

Make up y'all's mind. Either y'all do not care about the social ramifications of rap music or you hate and resent every rapper to ever glamorize drug dealing and murdering (including Biggie, Hov, etc.).

You are not lying.

Dudes just pick and choose when it's convenient for them. These raps arent helping the youth, they're breaking them down and sending the wrong message. Maybe an assumption, but why do you all think Chief Keef raps about things that "he has done" and "the life he lives"? That's because he was ill-influenced by the rap that he grew up listening...

Do ya really think that he woke up one day and listened to some rap songs and decided "hey let me join a gang and sell drugs and catch bodies."

Like his environment has nothing to do with it?

These kids are giving a representation of what goes on around them and what they see. Same thing Mobb Deep was doing 17 years ago. What people should actually be worried about is what's been going on in Chicago (or any other city for that matter) and how that cycle isn't gonna change any time soon. Keef isn't rapping about anything that hasn't been said before, in terms of content. I agree with Meek Meals in terms of making up ya minds... cause other rappers seem to get a pass because of their lyrical skill.

At the end of the day, none of these rappers would be on the platform they're on if no one was consuming their music. So before blaming an artist for negativity, fans need to realize they're the ones who control the climate.

Very good point. The consumer often ignores the hand he plays in the grand scheme of things. Gangsters continue to believe they can blow up by talking about their street experiences because they see rappers gain success. The consumer gives them that success. Feeding into their product is what perpetuates the continuance of the glorification of activity that's detrimental not only to the kids, but the community as a whole.

That JayLoud situation is just sad. Dude can't even wear a shirt in his best friends memory. They going hard. :{

Naw but let's don't kid ourselves. That dude was taunting people with that hoodie. The situation sucks but he seemed like he wanted trouble by his actions. Talkin ish and say F opp's. Wearing the Jo Jo hoodie. Not too smart.

Yea but Keef is contributing to this cycle and not only that but now he got people in other areas starting to want to be like him. Kids are impressionable as it is. We don't need to see this glorified. And Mobb Deep was a different situation. Them cats were rappin' about the ish but they weren't glorifying it.

I'm in my 20's so I can understand Keef and rock with some of his music without letting it cloud my judgement or be impressionable to me. But these 16 or 17 year olds out here? They are stupid as it is. :lol They don't need any help in that regard.
