You must be rich and live in apenthouse in Manhattan. Just because Jay-Z and Alicia Keys wrote a songabout NYC doesn't make it A-okay with everyone living in New York.

So people that live in New York are either rappers or destitute? With brilliant insight like that, maybe you could get a job writing for Forbes. Nobody said New York was Pleasantville.
Great inference! Finally, someone understands my metaphors. Look up the crime rates for US cities. NYC has the highest crime rate overall, but not in the murder or rape category, so yes, you must be right. It is safe, because people are getting !#!# stolen, but not their lives or their rear ends. That's all what matters, right? At least bad guys in New York follow some of the Commandments, I guess. I'm actually really happy that you'd be willing to recommend me for a job at Forbes. I'll send you a PM when I need that LoR.

On a side note, I don't think you are very friendly... might want to change the name. You know, so that people don't get confused with who they can and who they can't pick on.

Probably because you're a tourist and you don't set foot outside of South Beach.

Negative. I've been all over. My step-great grandmother's lived in Little Havana since she escaped from Cuba. But I'm sayin, the city never seemed bad enough to be ranked in the top 10 of the Worst Cities of America.

How can they factor in sports teams if more than half of those cities don't have any real sports?

Jokes been made before. It wasn't funny then.

And I'm not going to argue numbers with you. The stats are there. But continue believing New York is a more miserable city than Philly, Youngstown, or Gary.

whats wrong with sac?  I mean I can understand stockton and modesto because there really isn't anything to do, but sac is different.  Sac is a better place to live compared to alot of cities in the bay area.
Sorry but anywhere in the immediate Bay Area is better than Sacramento. Sacramento offers nothing in terms of culture. The arts, food, entertainment... sorry, Sacramento is a hellhole. Even Richmond, although a crime-riddled place, is better since it's in the proximity.

Get off your crack pipe..Just becuse it's in proximity does not make it better..Vallejo, Richmond, Hayward, Oakland, Pittsburgh, Concord, Alameda, Livermoore are all trash NOT better than Sacramento..

I still don't see how Buffalo and Detroit are not ahead of us, I been to both, and they both look 12302 x more depressing

What the %++$ ever...damn shame Frank Jackson isn't anywhere near the calibre of Mike White. We'll see what happens when Gilbert gets his casino opened, that will help the short-term economy.

So what makes Sacramento better than all of those places? Please enlighten us all. Pittsburgh, Concord, and Livermore aren't even really cities one would consider part of the Bay Area although I'd much rather live in Concord or Livermore than Sacramento. Vallejo and Richmond are pretty lame but, like I said, they're in the area. Better than being almost two hours away and having Davis as the biggest major city nearby

. Alameda, Hayward, and Oakland are MUCH better than Sacramento. I don't even know why you threw those cities in that list
laugh.gif
Seems like you have something against the East Bay.

edit: At least Sacramento isn't Cleveland?
