COP STRIKES MELANIN DEFICIENT FEMALE-you don't see that too often

You dudes are defending based on a technicality, "oh she placed her hands on the uniform" that's enough for him to forget his gender and training and simply go buckwild on her, what could have happened was some dude could have been in the restaurant, perhaps with a weapon and maybe this kind of abuse put him over the edge and he would have been the real threat...the cop didn't contain the situation, he made it worst and is lucky he didn't ignite the wrong reaction from someone there placing himself and his peer in a real +!@%#% situation.

  that wasn't the situation at all.  she didnt say a wrong thing to an officer, she was being a stupid drunk *#+%% and putting hands on a cop in an aggressive manner.  if ANYONE put hands on a cop aggressively in any situation, i would expect them to be dealt with early, let alone interfering with an arrest

and im damn sure my family and most of the women i know have the common sense to not touch a cop in that way.  at the end of the day its about common sense and street smarts, i have no  sympathy for anyone that gets snuffed for being a dumb $@$

It's clear a lot of dudes saying "she's only a 100lb girl", haven't been in too many physical confrontations. When that adrenaline gets pumping, i've seen and dealt with chicks who fight like dudes.

Being tipsy doesn't give you the right to break the law, if an officer issues you a command and you ignore it, he can place you under arrest. If you resist arrest, the officer has every right to subdue the resisting individual by force, why do you think cops are equipped with batons and tazers, these aren't fashion accessories. People who aren't cops have no idea how stressful a "routine" situation is, answering a call at parties and large gatherings of drunken people are definitely no walks in the park. If you resist arrest, the officer has every right to subdue the resisting individual by force, why do you think cops are equipped with batons and tazers, these aren't fashion accessories. If it was a female officer, I still think it would have been abusive, but I would be a bit more receptive to what you guys are saying...bottom-line this is a 200lbs+ man going in on a girl probably half his weight...he abused her.
