What would motivate Dave to stop making trans jokes when all the audiences find it funny and the people that don't keep watching the specials to get mad and talk about it anyways?

But you’ll never get your answer proving exactly what I said. The fact you think your retort makes sense is hilarious
No not at all.Are you under the impression that he saves this material for his specials and may or may not perform this stuff for his regular crowd?
He does the shows to work out his material for when he does do a special. Now I'm no showbiz type, but it seems like it'd make sense to put your strongest material in your filmed specials and then repeat said strongest material or some variation of said material to the crowd at your regular shows.
I guess if you think Dave is still doing the same jokes from The Closer or What’s In A Name you’d have a pointYou wanna talk about things that make no sense? Believing that his material in his regular shows deviates significantly from his specials.
No I watched a recorded vid of one of his recent shows before What’s In A Name. Right around the time he got tackled by that guy who got curb stomped. Also have you been to one of his performances recently? I feel like your argument's validity is contingent upon this.
Which would make buddy question validOnce a special comes out the comedian starts working out new mateiral
But you couldn’t answer that here when all ppl are doing is talking about his most recent speech “special”Which would make buddy question valid
I actually tried to give What's in a Name? a shot two weekends ago and turned it off after about 15 minutes.
Just didn't find it entertaining or funny, honestly.
do you recommend that one for a watch?Just watched Burr's 2021 special on NFLX.
He's got alot of bad reviews cuz he kinda still is trashing women & feminism (it's bout half his special)Just watched Burr's 2021 special on NFLX.
Did folks complain about that one?
Dudes was penning essays for minute pointsBut you couldn’t answer that here when all ppl are doing is talking about his most recent speech “special”
Thread has been dominated by trans talk/Dave criticism.
Notice how I never called it that. Just said it wasn’t interesting or funny. My guy its an acceptance speech its not a special
do you recommend that one for a watch?
i find it wild that he basically played himself in the mandalorian.
Notice how I never called it that. Just said it wasn’t interesting or funny.
You’re entitled to your opinion. Me and my girlfriend looked at eachother at the 15 minute mark and were like “are we done with this?” and we agreed. It was actually pretty interesting especially the fact that he freestyled that whole acceptance speech.
Nah nah nah don't you see not only is Dave's art VIOLENCE.
The mere act of booking Dave to perform his comedy was also a VIOLENT action.
And they are going to have to figure out how heal the those wounded by their comedy booking choices.
What would motivate Dave to stop making trans jokes when all the audiences find it funny and the people that don't keep watching the specials to get mad and talk about it anyways?
The old puritans at least affirmatively defended what they were doing as the righteous expression of gods will.
the new puritans, just obfuscate and say "tHeRe iS nO sUcH tInGn aS cAnCeL cUlTuRe"
