Well he is and I think he is suppose to. With their dark clothing, I assume this is a decade or so after X3 and it is the dark future where Sentinels ensalved mutants. Prof X/Stewart looks much older too.

Bishop!
Who's the guy next to bishop?
true but could they at least follow the cartoon/comic storyline the cartoons do a better job at presenting the story than the film
What exactly is so yeah about it?.....I like the fact that they don't copy the cartoons inch by inch, specially when it comes to the suits, **** would end up looking like the old school Batman movies, colorful as **** I like the subtle colors they throw in, ya really don't want an exact copy of the cartoons/comics....that ishh is beyond dated man.
RUMOR: Apocalypse To Have Major Role In Fox’s New X-MEN Universe
The website, Unleash The Fanboy, is claiming that a their source, from Fox, has told them that ancient mega-villain, Apocalypse, is a "big part" of Fox's new X-Men film universe. Check it out!
Unleash The Fanboy isn't exactly the site you associated with breaking huge scoops, but nevertheless they make a bold claim. First off that they have a source within Fox studio, and that the source has revealed Fox's plan to make 5000 year-old human mutant, Apocalypse.
This is what she said:
“He’s definitely a big part of Fox’s whole plan for a big X-Men universe with spin-off movies. The Avengers really is the template here”
Will he show up in Days Of Future Past?
“I won’t say too much about that. You’ll just have to wait and see”
Although, this info may seem old compare to Bleeding Cool's interview with Bryan Singer last March. At that point Singer was asked about the gray skinned mutant with blue lips being Days Of Futures Past and replied nervously, "I can’t tell you…" When pressed further he tried to deflect the questions with, "This is how it gets started, when somebody starts piecing the little bits together…."
Something to take with a grain of salt...

i get that but when its completely changed it just losses all character. those costumes can be put into any si-fi movie and nobody would know or care. the whole "lets make it dark and super realistic" thing makes thing SUCK. its a movie about a man who can spring forth blades out of his arms yet they choose to make the costume more realistic? mmmmmmk..... im not saying copy paste the cartoon with the movie but work with the original content not cast it out so far they are 1.5/4 with xmen movies 0/1 with wolverine movies using thier "modernization" approach. GIVE IT UP
